Ex on the Beach’s Jess Impiazzi pregnant after intense IVF treatment
Actress Jess Impiazzi, who is also known for her stint on the MTV reality show Ex on the Beach in 2015, has announced that she is pregnant after a host of IVF struggles
Jess Impiazzi has revealed that she is pregnant. The reality star, 36, who is best known for her stint on MTV series Ex on the Beach but has also appeared as an actress in programmes like Strike, Override, and Keep Calm and Carry On, has been in a relationship with Formula E Driver Sam Bird, 37, since the summer of 2024 and revealed on Tuesday that they are expecting.
The couple have been through several rounds of IVF, and in an emotional post on her Instagram page, Jess revealed that even though it has been “hard” to keep the news to themselves, they are now expecting a little boy, due later this year.
She wrote: “It’s been hard keeping this secret, especially as a huge over-sharer. It’s not been an easy journey, but my @sambird_official has been there through every IVF appt, every jab, every hospital appt, and I love him so much.
“We’re so excited to welcome our little boy in May 2026 and cannot wait to meet him.” The Celebrity Big Brother star, who was previously married to rugby player Denny Solomona, was inundated with messages from her celebrity pals, who rushed to the comments section of her social media post to congratulate her.
Pop singer Pixie Lott said: “ahhhh congratulations jess so happy for u yayyy!!” whilst Kelsey Parker said: “Best news ever[ red heart emoji] so happy for you Jess xxx love you loads.” Strictly Come Dancing professional Dianne Buswell, who is also expecting, simply wrote: “congratulations” and Emmerdale star Bradley Riches wrote: “Congrats gorgeoys xxx”
Prior to meeting Sam, Jess was in a relationship with Jermaine Pennant, but she called things off with the former footballer in December 2023 after accusing him of being unfaithful on a stag do. The TV star claimed he had bedded a dominatrix while on the wild trip abroad, which left her heartbroken. She deleted all photos of Jermaine from her social media, while the ex-Liverpool and Arsenal player released a statement denying he cheated.
Jermaine denied it all after Jess confronted him about the claims. In a statement to the Sun, Jermaine said: “I went on a stag do with people I hardly knew, and anything organised was for the stag and had nothing to do with me.
“I did not cheat on Jess. I thought she had accepted my version because we stayed together after the Ibiza trip. It’s hard enough breaking up before Christmas, as Christmas alone without Jess will be tough, but I’ll just have to get on with it.”
Discussing his behaviour on the E4 show, the ex footballer said: “The majority of the girlfriends I had I have had I haven’t been faithful, I don’t know if that is because I’m acting like a bad boy or because I never had a mum around.”
When asked by dating guru Paul Brunson where his mother was, he simply replied: “She just wasn’t in my life. When you’ve got a mother that bond is there, the way you love her people then take that into their relationships with a girl, they look at that woman and look at their mum. “I’ve never had that. We did break up for a period and it was dark, it was a lonely place. For some reason we always find our way back.” Jess opened up on the fallout last year as she admitted: “I wouldn’t tolerate that again.”
Speaking on TV, psychic Sally Morgan’s That’s Afterlife! podcast, Jess said of her relationship to Jermaine ending: “I think you learn lessons, don’t you, and I don’t think I’d ever tolerate anything remotely like that again. So maybe it was necessary so that, for my future, I don’t have anything like that ever again.”
