A STRICTLY Come Dancing star has revealed she has split from her husband after almost eight years of marriage.
Alexis Warr, 26, confirmed the news in a surprise statement on Instagram.
The pro dancer married her hubby, Jake Burton, back in 2018 after being childhood sweethearts.
But now she has confirmed that her marriage has crumbled just months after her debut on the BBC dancing show.
Taking to Instagram this evening, Alexis confirmed she had split with Jake in a difficult decision.
She said: “After much consideration and with the greatest respect for each other, Jake and I have made the decision to seperate.
“Whilst this hasn’t been an easy decision, it has been reached with a huge amount of love and we’re each other’s biggest cheerleaders.”
Alexis added that the pair planned to navigate the rest of their “life change” in private.
The couple married on November 15, 2018, at the Provo City Center Temple before her rise to fame.
The US dancer first achieved fame by winning the US version of So You Think You Can Dance in 2022.
She went on to join the troupe of Dancing With The Stars in 2024 before becoming a pro on the BBC dance contest last year.
For her first stint on the show, Alexis was paired with podcast host and TikTok star George Clarke.
