Labour’s David Lammy was questioned about the ongoing Iran conflict when he appeared on today’s (Friday, March 6) instalment of Good Morning Britain, which was hosted by Kate Garraway and Ranvir Singh. However, just minutes into the interview, ITV viewers flocked to X to comment on how “painful” the segment was to watch.

Taking to the social media platform during the 10-minute interview, one person shared: “Lammy is a painful watch! #GMB” Another echoed with snoring emojis: “Can someone please pop another coin in David Lammy.”

Another, who felt the minister was speaking without much enthusiasm as he issued reassurances to viewers, added: “Lammy sounds like his batteries need replacing #gmb.” Meanwhile, a fourth penned: “A reassurance from David Lammy is about as comforting as a seatbelt made of wet spaghetti.”
