“Everyone meet Rodney,” Pete wrote softly. “Eric’s new little brother. Thank you to Dogs Trust for trusting me with him.”

But behind the sweet introduction was raw honesty. Pete admitted he has barely spoken about losing Peggy, who died last year after months of treatment — a loss he described simply as “breaking my heart.”
