JANETTE MANRARA’S Emotional ‘GOODBYE’ Sparks Strictly Exit Shock CQ💔

STRICTLY Come Dancing’s Janette Manrara has issued an emotional ‘goodbye’ amid reports she has been axed from It Takes Two.

The star has been a co-host of the BBC Two spin-off for five years but The Sun revealed how she and fellow host Fleur East had been let go ahead of this year’s Strictly overhaul.

Now, Janette has spoken out about the “end of an era” and not being sure when the next time she will get to dance on stage with hubby Alijaz Skorjanec will be.

Aljaz is confirmed to be returning as a pro to this year’s Strictly but has also just finished performing with his wife on a nationwide tour.

But Janette’s telling words appear to confirm that they won’t find themselves working together again on Strictly later this year.

Penning a goodbye to the tour, Janette made a number of cryptic references as she said: “Last day of the tour and feeling so many emotions.

“I have loved every moment on stage with our cast and band, and sharing the love of dance and entertainment I have w/ everyone that came along to watch.

“@aljazskorjanec and I have been doing this together for a long while, but we don’t know when we’ll be on stage like this together again, so tonight will be a VERY special end of an era.

“THANK YOU for coming, for supporting us all these years, and for being the best audiences we could have ever dreamed of.

“It’s never “goodbye”, but instead “until the next time”.

“In the mean time, ‘there is always time for one…. more… DANCE!”

Despite Janette’s words, Aljaz shared a post in full support of the programme despite his wife’s axing.

Sharing a throwback snap of him and Janette behind-the-scenes of a pro dancer photoshoot in 2013, he said online: “@jmanrara and I look a couple months younger there.

“Little did I know then how being a part of @bbcstrictly would change my life for the better FOREVER. Back for my 12th season! Bring it on!!

“My mission is to look exactly like I did in this photo by the time you see me on your screens in autumn.“

This year, there has been a cast bloodbath, largely down to the show aiming to have a re-fresh following years of scandals, behind-the-scenes drama and hosts Claudia Winkleman and Tess Daly‘s decision to quit.

Five pro dancers were axed with It Takes Two also facing a major overhaul – leading to the departures of Janette and Fleur.
