JoJo Siwa reveals dreams of motherhood as she celebrates Chris Hughes anniversary
22-year-old JoJo Siwa has said she wants “to be a mum” as she celebrates one year of her relationship with 33-year-old Love Island star Chris Hughes, after they were on Celebrity Big Brother together
JoJo Siwa has said she dreams of being a mother, as the 22-year-old celebrates her one-year anniversary with her 33-year-old boyfriend, Chris Hughes.
The two met on Celebrity Big Brother last year, where they developed a close friendship. Shortly after the pair were on the show together, Jojo and her then-partner Kath Ebbs broke up, and the Dance Moms and Love Island stars began dating. They have since been very open about their relationship online.
During a Snapchat Q&A, Jojo let fans ask her anything. One asked: “What are your dreams that you have not yet achieved?” Jojo responded with a picture of herself with children at Disneyland and said: “To be a mom.”
This isn’t the first time the two of them have hinted at having children together. Jojo told the Mirror: “I have names that I really, really like and that I’ve spoken to him about. But I’ve never said them publicly.”
Jojo and Chris started dating after being on Celebrity Big Brother together in 2025. Kath has previously suggested that Jojo cheated on them, which the dancer strongly denies. Kath claimed that Jojo broke up with them at the Big Brother afterparty after they had flown to the UK to support her. Posting on Instagram, the Australian content creator described the moment as a “complete shock,” saying they felt “numbed out and humiliated” by the split.
While back in the US, JoJo hinted that her time in the house prompted deep self-reflection, and when asked if she was happy to be home, she replied: “Can I be honest? No. I want to go back, I want to go back.”
Pressed about what she learned during her time on the show, she subtly alluded to her personal life, saying: “Probably [that I] learned more about myself… I think that I had a lot of things in my life I wasn’t happy about. And being there forced me to change that, and that’s good. I needed that.”
Shortly after their shock split, Kath told the Mirror: “It’s really unfortunate that my relationship with this person is being reduced to untrue allegations about what happened at a party.
“The public has only heard one side of the story. Attacks on my character are not something I take lightly, especially from someone I cared for deeply and shared a committed relationship with.”
Around the time of Jojo and Chris’ anniversary, Kath took to Instagram to reshare a video they posted about their break-up and wrote over the top: “Happy one year anniversary to her x”. Kath also posted a pic with their new partner Tilly Lucas-Rodd and said: “Sending hate to your cheating ex day.”
In a third picture, Kath swore at the camera and wrote: “And to all those moles on the internet that trolled me for getting literally cheated on. Therapy bills getting mailed to you losers xx.”
