Kerry Katona has slammed Brooklyn Beckham for going “straight for the jugular” in his feud with his parents, David and Victoria – but insisted she isn’t blaming Nicola Peltz.
TV and music star Kerry, 45, shared her reaction to the latest explosive development in the highly-publicised fallout between the Peltzs and the Beckhams in her latest column with new! magazine.The world was left in shock as Brooklyn took to his Instagram stories on Monday night and unleashed a lengthy and rather scathing statement detailing his fallout with his parents and making a litany of allegations against them.

Heidi was invited on Good Morning Britain to speak about the Beckham fallout and I’m really proud of her. What shocks a lot of people about my kids is how they know their manners and how to speak. I might be common as muck but my children aren’t. Heidi looked absolutely beautiful and was very articulate. She was slightly nervous before but I sat nearby and I think that made her relax. Plus I couldn’t help but do my little cameo at the end with no makeup and my pyjamas on!
From one mum to another

I am absolutely devastated for Victoria Beckham after her son Brooklyn shared his statement. All I can think of is being a mum and in that situation and I’d be heartbroken if one of my children turned on me like that so publicly. David and Victoria have said nothing on the matter but Brooklyn has gone straight for the jugular. I’m not blaming Nicola, I’m blaming Brooklyn. He’s a grown man. I really don’t know how you come back from that, which is so sad because it’s clear how much they love their children.
I say what I mean
Last week in my column I said I’d be devastated if my kids did OnlyFans and it was taken and turned into a headline. I would be devastated. Let me make the mistakes and sacrifices so they don’t have to – isn’t that what being a parent is all about? Things are always taken out of context and twisted but I don’t need anyone to justify myself to anybody. As soon as you block out that noise and you start with inner peace, life is blissful and, for me, I’ve never been happier than I am now.

I’m really excited for Valentine’s Day this year before Paolo is taking me away. I’m not sure where we’re going but I’m hoping it’ll be somewhere hot and in the sun. As lovely as our recent trip to Turkey was, it was freezing! I’ve got a couple of weeks before work really starts to ramp up with the Mamma Mia tribute tour called Here We Go Again from May 4 until July 5, I’ve got Mighty Hoopla and the Kerry-Oke PAs with Butlin’s too – as well as another huge thing that I will share with you soon.

I’m writing this week’s column while I’m sitting in my pyjamas next to my daughter DJ – she has taken the day off of school as she’s feeling poorly. After a busy day the day before – being out the house from just before 8am until 8.30pm – I haven’t even got dressed today and I’ve cancelled my all of my meetings and appointments so I can be there for my baby girl DJ and help her to get better.

After I took part in Olivia Attwood ’s new series of Getting Filthy Rich I’ve had nothing but positive feedback from which has been phenomenal. I wasn’t able to go to the premiere because I was in Turkey with Paolo. But, since the episode aired it’s been really wonderful to get the support from fans – I’ve had loads of positive messages and it’s been lovely to have so much support. I’m only ever going to be myself on and off TV, that’s all I can be and I’ve never been anything else.
