Oasis star Liam Gallagher has told fans there is huge news about to be released as he left a mysterious message on social media
Liam Gallagher has sent his fans wild by teasing there’s huge news incoming. With speculation of a stadium tour rife for Oasis, as well as a Knebworth residency, fans are eager to find out what the Mancunian is to say.
He took to Twitter /X on Tuesday to simply write in capital letters: “Big announcement imminent”. And fans were quick to flood the comments section in excitement.
“Every time you say this, the whole timeline sits up like it’s 1996 again,” said one follower. “Whatever you’re about to drop, we’re ready for it.”
Another was in agreement, saying: “My heartbeat just filed a noise complaint. Drop. The. Announcement.”

And Oasis star Paul ‘Bonehead’ Arthurs also teased fans by telling Liam to “hurry up”. “Hurry up @liamgallagher. I’m going out,” he wrote shortly after.
“European Tour Bonehead or we riot,” said one fan. And another added: “If you don’t play Knebworth again me and my dog will be extremely sad. Jenny thinks you guys are cooler than Mr Freeze.”
However, some fans didn’t want to get their hopes up too much, claiming they had been here before. They wrote: “Oh Liam, “Big announcement imminent”?
“Mate, last time you built us up like this, it was just you flexing in the mirror yelling “I work out!” or declaring yourself “The B*****ks.” If this is another pint of tea with Noel, I’m rioting. Spill it before we all age another decade.”
After the iconic band wrapped up its comeback tour, it left any future shows uncertain. Following Brazil’s final show they shared a message with followers.
The band said a week ago: “There will now be a pause for a period of reflection.” But now Liam has sent them back into overdrive with his latest message.
It came after Liam had answered a question on the band’s future. With a Knebworth residency next summer among the rumours, as well as further shows at venues including their beloved Manchester City’s Etihad Stadium, Liam admitted it wasn’t solely down to him to make the decision.
Casting doubts over the potential showstoppers, Liam responded to a fan to tell them “unfortunately” Oasis’ future plans aren’t just down to him. It was a differing view to what he had told fans at Wembley Stadium after he blurted out he will see them next year.
This year’s epic comeback saw them play a total of 41 sold out stadium shows since their return in Cardiff in July. Noel and Liam Gallagher well and truly brought the nostalgia back to their huge fanbase as they settled their differences and were reunited on stage in July for the first time in 16 years.
