Love Island fans issue plea to bosses as latest ‘love triangle’ kicks off

Love Island: All Stars fans have demanded new Bombshells amid a new love triangle as they ‘can’t get on board’ with Millie Court, Jess Harding and Charlie Frederick

Love Island: All Stars fans have demanded new Bombshells amid a new love triangle. The ITV2 dating show, which sees famous faces from the regular version of the programme go back to the villa for a second chance at love, is back on screens and on Monday, Charlie took series ten champion Jess Harding for a chat in the secret garden. At the same time, he’s also got something going on with series seven winner Millie Court.

When Millie heard about this, she told Charlie: “When we had that conversation, you said that Jess had amped up the flirting, that was the impression I got, right? Well, when Jess came out, she’s kind of says that it was the other way round and you were laying it on thick, lie. I didn’t even know that you were saying that you and Jess had a vibe.”

But Charlie protested: “”Why do I need to do that? We’re not in a relationship. I don’t understand that, I don’t need to be going round doing that unless you want to let me know there’s something from your side, to be honest! I’m not in a couple so I need to explore options.”

It was then that Millie delivered the blow to Charlie that she “doesn’t feel special anymore” because of his actions,. Jess later noted that “nothing” happened in the secret garden but was enjoying where it all seemed to be going between herself and Charlie. and fans took to social media to react to the drama.

One fan wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter: “Charlie is so scary, he did that to make Millie jealous. What a weirdooo?” and another said: “It started off well with Millie & Charlie, but I’m not onboard anymore. bring in new bombshells now! this one’s not for you girlie!” A third wrote: “Charlie is terrible one minute he’s only bothered about Millie moaning about another man rubbing her leg. The next minute he’s off with Jess faking she kissed him. Pahahha hahaha poor Millie!”

The first episode saw 12 ex Islanders return to the ITV villa for another shot at love, from series seven’s Millie Court to series nine’s Shaq Muhammad. We watched as Tommy Bradley and Jess Harding discuss the flirty texts they’d been sending one another outside of the villa, before a whole lot of kissing went down during the series’ first ice breaker.

After their smooching session – which saw the girls kiss the boys they thought would be good and boy for them – host Maya Jama revealed the results of the first public coupling vote. Sean and Belle Hassan were matched together, followed by Jack and Whitney, Tommy and Jess, Shaq and Leanne and then Ciaran and Millie

Love Island’s return to our screens came a few days later than expected, after production was shut down due to South African wildfires. ITV announced at the weekend that production had been evacuated due to safety concerns.

“Our assessment of the location site has concluded that filming will need to be postponed,” a spokesperson said on Saturday. “Health and safety is our greatest priority and will always come first, and therefore the transmission of Love Island : All Stars will be delayed until a date to be confirmed.”

The series was delayed for a few days before ITV confirmed on Wednesday that it would make its grand return the following evening.

Love Island: All Stars airs weeknights at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
