Coronation Street star Lucy Fallon received an outpouring of support from her co-stars after posting a heartfelt update with her fiancé Ryan Ledson.
The actress catapulted to fame when she joined the ITV soap in 2015, playing the role of Bethany Platt, daughter of Sarah (Tina O’Brien). It’s safe to say that Bethany has been at the centre of several major storylines.
From enduring bullying to undergoing botched surgery abroad, her stint in Weatherfield has been anything but dull. Recently, she made a triumphant return to the cobbles, after initially departing for a job in London.
Off-screen, Lucy is head over heels for footballer Ryan Ledson. The pair went public with their relationship in June 2021 after reportedly connecting on the celebrity dating app Raya.

Their love story continued to blossom as they welcomed their son Sonny into the world in February 2023. Their family expanded further with the arrival of their second child, a baby girl named Nancy, in January, reports the Mirror.
Fast forward to November last year, and Ryan proposed during Lucy’s 30th birthday celebrations. Lucy confirmed the happy news on Instagram, sharing a series of photos flaunting her dazzling engagement ring.
However, recently, Lucy had fans rallying around her after she shared a touching family update on her Instagram. On Sunday (January 11), the soap star posted photos from daughter Nancy’s first birthday.
In one photograph, Lucy and Ryan were pictured alongside their beautiful daughter, whilst other images captured a scrumptious birthday cake and Nancy enjoying herself with a balloon. Lucy wrote beneath the post: “A perfect birthday for a perfect gworl.”

Lucy also shared a separate Instagram tribute honouring Nancy on her special day. Accompanied by professional photographs of the little one, Lucy penned: “1 today. Happy 1st birthday to the girl we dreamed of. You are pure magic my girl. We all love you so much. Happy birthday.”
Her soap colleagues were utterly charmed by the post and flooded the comments section with well-wishes. Vicky Myers, who portrays Lisa Swain, commented: “Happy 1st Birthday, beautiful Nancy! Have a magical day, all of you xxx.”
Helen Flanagan, known for playing Rosie Webster, declared: “Happy birthday beautiful Nancy your twin.” Meanwhile, Charlotte Jordan, who stars as Daisy Midgeley, added: “Nancyyyyy drewwww she looks just like her mama xxxx.”
