‘NEW MAN’ RUMOURS SWIRL AROUND KATE GARRAWAY — SHE FINALLY RESPONDS CQ🔥

Good Morning Britain star Kate Garraway has addressed claims she has a ‘new boyfriend’ following the death of her husband Derek Draper

Kate Garraway has addressed online rumours suggesting she has a “new boyfriend” following the passing of her husband Derek Draper in 2024.

The Good Morning Britain host, aged 57, took to Instagram to clarify a doctored image that had been circulating on the internet, which seemed to depict her with an unidentified man, leading some to speculate she had found new love.

In a light-hearted Instagram post, Kate shared a screenshot of a headline alluding to the false claim and humorously commented: “Very excited to see my ‘new boyfriend’ revealed in @thesun today – isn’t he #dreamy? ! !”

However, the presenter quickly turned serious, explaining that the image was a product of artificial intelligence. Kate wrote: “Seriously though, thank you @clemmiemoodie for highlighting this, for months now people (even those who know me really well) have been asking me about stuff out there that is totally fake.”

She continued: “On one level, it’s really sweet that people care about my life, but very confusing and in some cases, hurtful for the kids when it’s #fakenews.”

She concluded by saying: “Thank goodness we still have some proper ‘human’ journalists out there, but this is something all of us need to think about when getting our ‘news’ on the net, that it’s a trusted source,” reports the Express.

She added: “In this case, it only affects me really and is fundamentally silly and daft, but imagine if it were something more important, the damage it could do? #properjournalism #gmb.”

Fans quickly rallied around the beloved journalist, expressing their concern over the “frightening” reality of such fabricated images being disseminated globally.

One empathetic fan penned: “Dear Kate…you should not have to explain yourself because of these inaccurate articles… keep being the real you… love from a carer who appreciates you highlighting our plight.A second replied: “.

Another chimed in: “I keep seeing so many fake stories about celebrities appear on Facebook. Whilst I find it relatively easy to see that the images, etc., are AI-generated, it is clear from the comments underneath that many people believe it to be true. So sorry that you have had to go through this, sending love.”

Kate’s close friend and GMB co-star Ranvir Singh also weighed in, saying: “This must have been what I was referring to the other day! Lots of people are asking me about it! Very confusing and disturbing, actually.”
