LOOSE Women’s Denise Welch has admitted she hasn’t spoken to show co-star Olivia Attwood for NINE months amid their rumoured feud.
The actress and broadcaster told how she hasn’t touched base with the Love Island star amid her split with husband Bradley Dack – but has “read about her on Instagram“.
Former Coronation Street actress Denise, 67, formed a close bond with the reality TV star, who joined the Loose Women panel in 2023.
Olivia, 34, made waves with her humour and bold opinions and even featured Denise on her Olivia’s House podcast.
Though while the show has been on a hiatus, Denise has admitted it’s been radio silence between the pair amid speculation of a spat.
She took to her Instagram page for a video which saw her sitting in her home as she addressed rumours of a fall out.
She told the camera: “I haven’t seen Olivia for nine months.
“The last time I saw her everything was completely normal.
“I haven’t seen her, talked to her, I read about her on Instagram and whatever. Great.”
She then says she’s in contact with GK Barry more, who keeps asking her when is she going to do her podcast.
Previously, sources speculated Denise and Olivia had “had a falling out”.
They told Closer that the issue started when Denise began using Olivia’s former pal Ryan Kay as her stylist.
A source then admitted to the publication: “She [Olivia] was left feeling betrayed by Denise as she thought they were friends, especially as she’d introduced Denise to a younger audience after featuring her on her podcast.
“Olivia spoke to Denise and aired her concern that, after her big fallout with Ryan, Denise would think it was OK to befriend him”.
They added: “Olivia feels like her and Denise’s friendship made Denise relevant again; she’s furious at what she sees as a lack of loyalty.
“With everything going on with Brad it’s the last thing she needs”.
The Sun previously revealed Olivia’s secret turmoil after former assistant Ryan cut Olivia out of his life completely.
She then hit out at Ryan in a cryptic message on social media as she confirmed their friendship’s turned toxic.
Olivia then revealed the reason on social media during a Q&A with fans.
One asked: “What happened with your mate?”
She responded: “I am just very hurt if I’m honest. Prior to what you might have read.
“I had to respect myself and draw a line. It was something that played out over a few months.
“And I guess I hadn’t seen things that I should of… I think?”
She continued: “I give everything (in every sense of the word) to friendships and don’t let very many people in so it suckkkkks.
“It’s not something I can really explain on a story but I will at some point?”
