FOX News political analyst Guy Benson has welcomed a baby daughter and has given fans a first glimpse of the newest member of the family.
The commentator announced the arrival of little Madison Halsey with a series of heart-warming snaps showing him cuddling, feeding and cradling the newborn.
Madison was born on July 15, with Benson revealing the happy news to fans on Monday.
“She’s here and she’s perfect,” Benson wrote alongside the pictures on Instagram.
“We are blessed and overjoyed to welcome Madison Halsey into the world and into our family.
“Our hearts are filled to the brim. A baby girl. We are just so thankful.”

The touching photos showed Benson beaming as he held his daughter close, bottle-fed her and gazed lovingly at the family’s newest addition.
The Fox News favorite and his husband, Adam Wise, were quickly flooded with congratulations from colleagues and well-known conservative figures.
Legal analyst Emily Compagno wrote: “We love you so much – beautiful precious girl welcome to the world!!!”
Senior correspondent Alicia Acuna added: “Congratulations to you and your growing family.”
Martha MacCallum, Maria Bartiromo, Nikki Haley and Meghan McCain were also among those celebrating the couple’s baby news.
Madison is the second child for Benson and Wise, who welcomed their first son via surrogate on November 25, 2023.
The pair’s love story began in an unlikely way after Benson publicly came out as gay while promoting his 2015 End of Discussion.
“In the book, in a footnote, I came out as gay because there was a whole chapter about gay rights and the religious liberties, and I felt like it was important for me to disclose just ethically… from a journalism perspective,” he later told PEOPLE.
Wise, who had been watching Benson’s appearance on The Kelly File with Megyn Kelly, reached out shortly afterwards.
“I wanted help reconciling being a conservative and being gay,” he said. “I’d come out, I’d been out for a while.”
The pair eventually met in person and bonded over binge-watching Making a Murderer on Netflix.
“It became very clear pretty early on that things clicked,” Benson recalled.
“We’re both organized and driven human beings,” Wise added. “We just work well together.”
The couple got engaged in 2018 before tying the knot in California‘s Napa Valley the following year.
It comes as fellow Fox News star Peter Doocy revealed on air that he and wife Hillary Vaughn are expecting their third child together.
The senior White House correspondent surprised viewers during The Sunday Briefing last month by announcing the couple’s family is about to become a party of five.
“I have some family news,” Doocy said.
“This segment we were just doing, it’s aimed at America’s youngest citizens. I’ve got two at my house, you can see George there on the left and Bridget on the right.
“Well, here is a Fox News alert – another one is on the way!
“My wife Hillary is pregnant, she is due on my dad’s birthday. So Doocy party of five coming soon, and this little bundle of joy will be here in time for midterm coverage on the Sunday Briefing.”
The baby will arrive just over a year after Doocy and Vaughn welcomed son George Jack Doocy, who was born on April 16, 2025.
