TV veteran Trisha Goddard found herself at the centre of viewer backlash after her appearance on ITV’s This Morning – but the 67-year-old star appears entirely unbothered.

The former Celebrity Big Brother contestant joined hosts Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard, along with Tom Swarbrick, to weigh in on the day’s news. However, not all viewers appreciated her presence, with many accusing her of being “condescending” and having a “my opinion is the only right one” attitude.

Social media was awash with comments like, “I can’t warm to her,” and, “Why do they keep inviting her back?”
But for Trisha, who is currently battling incurable cancer, the criticism is barely a blip on her radar. In a candid Instagram video shared from Venice earlier this month, she explained how her diagnosis has shifted her mindset.

“One of the gifts this whole cancer malarkey has given me is the perfect excuse not to sweat the small stuff,” she said. “I won’t live life restricted by the fear of what others think. We’ve only got one life – live it.”
It’s clear that, despite the noise, Trisha is choosing to rise above the negativity and focus on living authentically.
