SHOCK ATTACK: Fat Tony, 60, Knocked Unconscious by Rival DJ Mid-Set CQ1đŸ˜±

A fellow disc jockey has admitted to physically attacking DJ Fat Tony inside a nightclub booth, which sent him to hospital with a broken eye socket.

The assault took place in the early hours of December 14, 2024, at the Lido Leisure Centre in Margate, Kent, which was hosting a ‘nightclub’ gig for the music icon.

Zack Bradley, 37, knocked out the 60-year-old artist after punching him twice in the DJ booth, according to the Daily Mail.

Bradley, who performs under the name ‘Zack Le Nez’, approached Tony – real name Anthony Marnoch, during the final 15 minutes of his set.

When he was asked to leave the booth with a friend so Tony could wrap up, he ‘shoved’ him behind the decks and subjected the DJ to a torrent of abuse, which Tony later alleged to The Standard was homophobic in nature, including calling him ‘a queer c**t’.

When Tony went to leave, Bradley pummelled him twice in the face, which can be seen in shocking footage below, and left him unconscious on the ground before anyone was able to intervene.

He told the Mail that the next thing he recalled, he ‘woke up in an ambulance’ and was informed he had a fractured eye socket and a broken cheekbone.

In a statement, Kent Police confirmed they were investigating the incident, confirming that Tony had been sent to hospital for further medical attention after being treated at the scene.

Tony also recalled Bradley and his companion ‘shouting and screaming’ in the DJ box and refusing to leave when he asked them to come back later.

‘His friend was homophobic, he called me a f****t, so I got into a row with him. When I tried to leave he [Bradley] sucker punched me twice,’ the DJ said.

Bradley was arrested and charged with grievous bodily harm (GBH) shortly afterwards.

On Monday morning he appeared before Canterbury Crown Court, where he entered a guilty plea.

Bradley, of Whitstable, Kent, was accompanied in court by his family, according to the Mail, and appeared in the dock in a blue patterned suit and black turtleneck jumper.

His Honour Judge Edmund Fowler noted that Bradley would ‘get credit’ for pleading guilty ‘usually 25 per cent’ – but that it was a matter for the sentencing judge to decide.

It was also heard that Bradley was subject to a known offender report, which will factor into his sentencing.

Speaking after the hearing, Tony shared his relief with the Mail after a ‘traumatic year’, praising Bradley for accepting his guilt as ‘it will go in his favour’.

But he also revealed that he’d had to have security with him the past year while performing as he had been reminded how ‘vulnerable’ he is when deejaying.

‘I love my job and love what I do, but it is sad that sometimes I no longer feel safe while playing,’ he added.

The veteran DJ also revealed he has been left with side effects from his injuries, with one side of his face still affected where he has muscle weakness around his eye. He also sometimes gets headaches – but accepted that it could have been much worse.

When Tony initially revealed his swollen face and black eye on Instagram last December, sharing that he would be forced to cancel upcoming events due to his injuries ‘under doctor’s orders’, he received an outpouring of support and concern.

‘Love you,’ Davina McCall commented, as Patsy Palmer wrote: ‘Omg Tony.’

Paloma Faith posted underneath: ‘So sorry
. Please take some time. This is devastating physically and mentally. Sending so much love to you and peaceful and loving thoughts.’

Other famous names sharing their love on social media at the time included David Furnish, Pete Tong, Carol Vorderman and Goldie.

Tony also added a few even starrier names to that, claiming to The Standard: ‘I’ve been trying to process what happened on the weekend at home and the phone just hasn’t stopped. The outpouring of love has been unbelievable, from Sharon Stone to JLo.’
