Bankrupt Katie Price has jetted off to Dubai to scout luxury rentals in the tax-friendly emirate after reportedly being left stunned by what her money could buy.

The former glamour model, 46, who was declared bankrupt in 2024, flew out on Wednesday after hearing about the Middle East hotspot’s near non-existent tax system, amid her ongoing financial woes.

Currently renting a £4,500-a-month property in Horsham, the star is said to have been blown away by the lavish apartments and sun-soaked lifestyles on offer in Dubai for the very same price.

However, despite the promise of year-round sunshine, Katie may have mistimed her visit, with the emirate currently experiencing its rainy season — meaning there’ll be no lounging poolside or topping up her tan just yet.

Still, insiders say the lure of luxury living and financial incentives could prove hard to resist for the reality TV regular as she weighs up her next move.

Katie’s ex-boyfriend JJ Slater is also busy soaking up the sun on a trip to Florida.

The former Married At First Sight star took to his Instagram Stories on Friday and shared a snap of himself in the resort city of St. Pete Beach.

The Daily Mail revealed this month that Katie ended the romance after realising she didn’t see a future with the former reality star, 14 years her junior.

Insiders say cracks in their relationship had become ‘too obvious to ignore’ in recent months, despite Katie insisting they were going strong.

The mother-of-five accepted their romance has run its course, and JJ will not become husband number four.

They began dating in February 2024, after JJ rose to fame on E4’s MAFS UK. Katie even spoke of having a child together, her sixth, but in the end, it wasn’t meant to be.

Katie was forced to sell her run-down ‘Mucky Mansion’ home in January last year for a knock-down price of £1.15million after failing to keep up with mortgage payments.

Katie planned to overhaul the nine-bedroom property in West Sussex as part of a TV makeover series but financial restrictions put paid to much needed major renovations.

After being booted out of their pad, the house was repossessed by her creditors who eventually found a buyer in furniture tycoon James Mercer, who ‘fell in the love’ with the property – despite its dilapidated state.

It comes after Katie said she is seeking medical advice after being left ‘horrified’ by photos of her ‘gaunt’ appearance.

Last week fans begged her to get help after she was pictured looking ‘worryingly thin’ while reuniting with daughter Princess Andre, 18, for a shopping trip.

Speaking on the latest episode of her podcast The Katie Price Show Katie told her sister Sophie that she is now having tests to get answers to her recent weight loss.

Reacting to the photos, Katie said: ‘I know I look gaunt, I look like I’m ill – hence why I’m going to the doctors tomorrow.’

‘I don’t know how many times I have to say to people, ‘Yes I know I’ve lost weight,’ and there’s obviously a reason, I said it to the doctor. We all know that we’re trying to sort it all out and as soon as I know then I’ll let everyone know.’

Katie explained that she has given herself ‘a bit of a glow up’ this week and had filler put in her face ‘because I look so bad it’s had an influence and that’s why I’ve had filler put in my face which I didn’t want to do.’

Katie added: ‘I just wanna put on weight, I really do but I’m just not. Everyone knows I eat – I eat anything that I want, I’ve never had a problem with what I eat.’

Earlier in the podcast Katie had revealed she had booked a doctors appointment and blood tests.

After her sister asked her how she has been taking care of herself, Katie replied: ‘I’ve been eating well and I’ve been drinking lots of water because I’ve got a blood test tomorrow, so I’ll get the results back.’

‘I went to the doctors and explained everything, it’s a new doctors so I’ve got a full blood test tomorrow morning.’

She also said she has been enjoying a quiet January and has barely drunk alcohol in recent weeks aside from a glass of champagne at Christmas. ‘I haven’t been out in so long, I can’t be bothered. I just love being at home,’ she explained.

She recently called herself a ‘stick woman’ and said doctors were concerned about her low blood pressure in another health update on her podcast.

Katie added she was feeling the pressure from her mother Amy to go to the doctors as she told her sister : ‘All I’ve had, since everywhere has been closed, is, “Have you phoned the doctors yet? Have you phoned?”

‘I’m like, “Yes, mum. I went to the doctors today.” I screenshotted the appointment.’

Sophie asked: ‘Did you actually though? Because mum has been speaking to me about this.’

Katie replied: ‘Yes. I’m going in there to talk about blood tests, MRI, everything she wants me to have to get to the bottom of why the price is – forget stick man – stick woman.’

The mother-of-five added she had to have her blood pressure done three times because doctors thought it was so low that there must have been an error.

In October, Katie confessed she had been hospitalised for her weight loss – which she initially conceded was her aim – however later insisted was baffling doctors and left needing tests to assess the situation.

Katie told fans on her Snapchat Story she ‘doesn’t know why’ her frame is shrinking so much as she undergoes tests.

She began: ‘I’ve been up early at the doctors so she could do some bloods and because my veins are so s*** they had three attempts.

‘They could only fill two tubes up, so I’ve got to go back in two weeks. And I’ve got to have my stitches out then because they looked at my little stab wound that I did…’

Katie added: ‘The reason I’m going to the doctors is because I keep losing weight and I don’t know why. So that’s that.’
