Stacey Dooley has horrified fans with her ‘hideous’ and very unconventional Christmas tree.
The former Strictly star, 38, shocked her 1.2 million Instagram followers as she shared a video of a tree made of pink and silver tinsel that completely masked the green underneath.
As an ode to her days on the BBC dancing show, she decorated the unusual tree with silver spikes poking out and dozens of disco balls placed at the bottom.
Stacey added blue lights and topped it with a disco ball – replacing the traditional star or angel.
The presenter joked in the caption of her post: ‘It’s giving.. Elstree,’ which is the name of the studio Strictly Come Dancing is filmed at in Hertfordshire.

She added: ‘Guys, did I ever mention I did strictly 100 years ago?
‘The theme was “camp disco” and ofc @marymaryflorals delivered AGAIN.
‘Isn’t it so Angel Delight energy? Made up! Ta so much girls!’
But fans were less impressed and flocked to the comments section to disapprove of her bizarrely decorated Christmas tree.
One shocked user wrote: ‘Is that a Christmas tree or weapon of mass destruction?!’
Another said: ‘Sorry but that tree is hideous.’
One bluntly said: ‘Errm???’, while another said: ‘It’s ugly, sorry.’
A fifth declared: ‘Awful day to have eyes’ and another plainly wrote: ‘There are no words. None.’
Many did not hold back, calling the tree ‘yuk’, ‘terrible’ and ‘horrendous’.

Stacey is one of the names being suggested to replace Strictly Come Dancing hosts Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman, who revealed they are leaving the show after an iconic run.
The current hosts, who have fronted the show together since 2014, announced their departure in an emotional social media video to fans last month.
Speaking to the camera, Claudia began: ‘There have been some rumblings and we want you to hear this from us.’
Tess chimed in: ‘We have news, after 21 wonderfully joyful years on Strictly, we have decided that the time is right to step aside and pass over the baton.’
‘The very sparkly baton!’ Claudia laughed, before turning to her co-star and pal to add: ‘You’ve been here since the beginning.’
Tess replied, pointing to Claudia: ‘With Bruce, lovely Bruce [Forsyth], and that was over two decades ago but a lot of the time has been with you.
‘It’s been a huge part of our lives since our children were literally babes in arms, and now they’re adults, and I think genuinely we have cherished every second.’
Claudia continued: ‘We have, we’re so lucky to have been part of this amazing show and we just want to thank the Strictly team, because Strictly is the people who make it.’

The duo penned under the video: ‘We have loved working as a duo and hosting Strictly has been an absolute dream.
‘We were always going to leave together and now feels like the right time. We will have the greatest rest of this amazing series and we just want to say an enormous thank you to the BBC and to every single person who works on the show.
‘They’re the most brilliant team and we’ll miss them every day. We will cry when we say the last “keep dancing” but we will continue to say it to each other.
‘Just possibly in tracksuit bottoms at home while holding some pizza.’
But names to replace the hosting duo are already being suggested, with Zoe Ball, Holly Willoughby and Kevin Clifton – Stacey’s long-term partner who she met on the show – among the front runners.
Some of the top names in telly have had their hat thrown into the ring for the primetime gig, which will begin at the start of the next series in 2026.
Other names who have been mentioned so far include Roman Kemp, former Strictly pro Janette Manrara and former contestant Alex Scott.
