When Could Wednesday Season 3 Be Released
There’s no official release date for Wednesday season 3 just yet, but we do have a clue about the timeline. According to reports, production is scheduled to begin in 2026, which means the earliest possible release date would be sometime in 2027.
That said, the gap between seasons 1 and 2 was long, partly due to the 2023 writers’ strike. If things go smoothly this time around, we might get the third season sooner than expected but 2028 is still not off the table.

Several major characters won’t be returning due to their confirmed deaths in season 2, including Donovan Galpin, Laurel Gates, Dr Rachael Fairburn, Francoise Galpin, Isaac Night, Principal Barry Dort, and Professor Orloff. Co-creator Gough also confirmed that we’ve seen the last of Xavier Thorpe.
