This is the second time that the actress has reprimanded fans about talking to “Dr. Santos” in the middle of her performance.

Isa Briones and Dr. Trinity Santos are not one in the same.

But since some fans can’t seem to separate The Pitt actress from her TV character, Briones is once again issuing a stern warning to those showing up to see her perform in the Broadway production of Just In Time.

“HEY HEY HEY” Briones began a now-expired Instagram story post, per Variety. “Once again, Broadway is not a circus. Do not yell whatever you want at the performers.”

She continued, “Yelling ‘when are you going to finish your charts’ before I sing ‘Who’s Sorry Now?’ is f—ing disrespectful to the performers onstage and your fellow audience members. Y’all are pissin’ me off.”

Briones concluded, “Love and light and please remember you are occupying shared spaces and watching art.”

Briones is already a Broadway vet, having made her debut in 2024 as Eurydice in Hadestown. But her return to the stage comes after achieving massive acclaim for her role as second-year med student Trinity Santos on The Pitt.

Evidently, fans of the hit medical drama have not been able to restrain their excitement at seeing the actress in person. Two weeks into her run in the show, Briones penned an Instagram story calling out one particular attendee who couldn’t keep their mouth shut while she was singing.

“Some people need to brush up on theatre etiquette, and just person in the world etiquette in general,” the actress wrote in an April 12 post, per Hello Magazine. “Do not talk to the performers while they are performing on stage (unless you have been asked to).”

She added, “And don’t talk to me on stage and call me Dr. Santos. I’m not Dr. Santos. I’m not even Connie Francis. I am Isa Briones, one of the actors in the show you have paid to enjoy. So watch it respectfully. You are not a kid at Disneyland. You are an adult man at a Broadway show. Act like it.”

Briones stars alongside Jeremy Jordan in Just In Time, a musical retelling of Bobby Darin’s rise to fame. And she isn’t the only employee of the Pittsburgh Trauma Medical Center who’s soaking up the spotlight on Broadway. Her onscreen nemesis, Patrick Ball (Dr. Frank Langdon) recently made his debut with Becky Shaw.

Despite their characters’ onscreen tensions, Ball didn’t hesitate to praise Briones when talking about her Broadway show on Today.

“She’s so good,” Ball began. “[My girlfriend and I] went and saw her in her show, and she was just absolutely phenomenal. You can just tell that she’s a theater creature. Like she just has that power, that soul power, and it was just amazing seeing her, like, in her bag.”
