LORRAINE Kelly has issued a stark warning to Olympian Adam Peaty after it was revealed he’s banned his mum from attending his wedding to Holly Ramsay.
The ITV broadcaster gave her no-frills take on the tense family situation on Wednesday’s episode of her talk show, Lorraine, after The Sun exclusively reported how the bitter feud had escalated.
Scottish TV anchor Lorraine, 65 – herself a mum of one – bluntly told the sports ace he would “regret it” if his parent was banned.
Over the weekend, bride-to-be Holly, 25, looked sensational as she celebrated her Hen Do at Soho Farmhouse.
Yet behind the happy smiles, relations between gold medallist Adam, 30, and mum Caroline are said to have soured so much she has been told not to come to next month’s star-studded ceremony.
Guests at the event in Bath are expected to include Holly’s chef dad Gordon, as well as David and Victoria Beckham.
Yet Caroline, who has hit back at her wedding and Hen Do invite snub with a cryptic comment on social media, will be noticeably absent.
After learning of the family friction, Lorraine remarked how Adam and Holly’s upcoming nuptials have “all gone wrong.”
In a chat with entertainment reporter Rishi Davda, she said: “It’s sad.”
Lorraine added: “And they’re saying she might not be going to the wedding, Adam’s mum?
“No!” before throwing her hands in the air.
She turned her face to the camera and addressed Adam direct as she continued: “Adam, if you’re watching.
“Pick up the phone to your mum.”
She added: “You and your mum have to sit down and work that out.
“Because you cannot, I don’t think … you’ll regret it if you get married and your mum’s not there.
“Just saying, just saying.”
ITV’s daytime TV schedule changes in full
Good Morning Britain will be extended by 30 minutes to run from 6am to 9.30am daily.
Lorraine will run from 9.30am-10am, on a seasonal basis for 30 weeks of the year.
During the weeks Lorraine is not on air, Good Morning Britain will run from 6am to 10am.
This Morning will remain in its 10am-12.30pm slot on weekdays throughout the year.
Loose Women will be in the 12.30-1.30pm slot, again on a seasonal basis for 30 weeks of the year.
The changes will take effect from January 2026.
FAMILY FRICTION
Over the weekend, Adam’s aunt Louise Williams hit out at Holly for supposedly being “divisive and hurtful” to a woman close to her, seemingly meaning Adam’s mum.
According to the Mail, the post is said to have deeply upset Holly and infuriated Olympic champion Adam who now wants to cut ties with his family.
A family pal claimed: “Adam’s relationship with Caroline and his dad Mark are at an all-time low — it’s heartbreaking.
“It’s at a point now where Caroline has been told she should not come to the wedding.
“There is a feud rumbling on and it’s been absolutely devastating for everyone involved.”
In a shock twist, a source close to Adam and Holly has now claimed there are “jealous people desperate to ruin their happy day”.
They added: “There are wider problems in the Peaty family, with horrible threats of violence against both Holly and Adam from one individual.
“It’s gone too far and with real concern for the couple’s safety the police are now involved.”
