Six-part series Unfamiliar has been making waves with viewers, so much so that it now sits among the coveted top ten chart.
Fans have raved over the series, which was uploaded to the streaming giant last week, admitting ânothing is as it seemsâ after tuning in to binge the show.
The thriller follows a German couple who are former spies, living in Berlin and running a safe house after getting married â leaving their espionage past behind.
But itâs not long before their past lives as undercover agents starts to catch up with them, and it has a disastrous impact on their relationships.

On the other line is a man claiming heâs badly hurt, and in desperate need of refuge in their âidyllicâ safe house in Berlin.
But the former intelligence officers soon grow suspicious when the man arrives, and they notice his wounds appear to have been self-inflicted.
Heâs soon acting strangely, forcing the duo to have to investigate his background â revealing he was sent by a high-ranking Russian military officer.

Nominated at the time of its release in the 1980s for an Emmy and a BAFTA, the seven-part series was made available to stream online.
And itâs been streaming up the charts since its release, following the second series of The Night Manager hitting screens â a series also based on Le Carreâs novels.
Despite first airing in 1987 on BBC Two, fans have been flooding the reviews sites to heap praise on the series as the âperfectâ spy series.
Taking to film and TV database IMDbâs reviews section, one penned: âA masterpiece of storytelling and acting â exquisitely transformed.â
Another chimed in: âI was surprised to discover that my expectations were exceeded in this miniseries, a fine cross between a spy thriller and a human drama. A Perfect Spy isnât to be missed.â
