Vernon Kay has continued to support Tess Daly, following their joint decision to separate after 22 years of marriage.

Vernon Kay appears to remain Tess Daly’s biggest cheerleader, one month after confirming their separation. Penning his support for Daly as she headed to the Greek island of Lefkada to shoot her Naia Beach SS27 collection, Kay commended his ex on her brand. “Absolutely rocking!!! Every woman needs to experience the @naia_beach vibe!!” Kay wrote, in response to her latest Instagram post.
Kay and Daly, who share daughters Phoebe and Amber, announced their amicable separation in May. “After much consideration, and with a deep sense of care and respect for one another, we have made the decision to separate amicably,” they confirmed in a joint statement.
“This has not been an easy choice, but it comes from a place of mutual understanding and a shared desire of what is best for both of us.
“We remain great friends and, most importantly, fully committed to our roles as loving and supportive parents, which will always be our priority.”
More recently, Kay spoke about their separation on his BBC Radio 2 show. “I just want to say on behalf of myself and Tess, thank you. Thank you for all your well wishes. It’s been greatly appreciated,” he told listeners, days after their statement was made public.

The duo, who first met in 2001, dated for two years before tying the knot at St Mary’s Church in Horwich in September 2003. “It was all quite immediate, really, because we instantly had such a blast together,” Daly told Fabulous Magazine in 2013.
Now, almost two months after they shared the news of their separation, Kay and Daly have continued to prove that they are well and truly on good terms. Earlier this week, the BBC Radio 2 presenter commented on another of Daly’s posts, which showcased her latest trip to New York with daughters Phoebe, 21, and Amber, 17. “NYC with my best girls,” Daly captioned a slew of snaps. “What a few days,” Kay replied with a heart and fire emoji.
