Fans simply canât get enough of Mickey Haller (Manuel Garcia-Rulfo) and his associatesâs engrossing cases and the nuanced characters that make up the ensemble (not to mention the fashion inspiration Lorna provides).
Season 3 wrapped up a major mystery, but introduced the showâs biggest cliffhanger to date, leaving fans clamoring for news about season 4. Read on for everything we know about The Lincoln Lawyer season 4 so far.

Has âThe Lincoln Lawyerâ been renewed for season 4?
Yes! On January 22, 2025, Netflix confirmed that The Lincoln Lawyer will return for a fourth season, much to the delight of the legal dramaâs dedicated fanbase.
âWeâre in the hands of the audience,â he said. âWeâre quietly optimistic about it, but obviously, with Netflix, it always depends on how the current season goes. And so I would say to our fans and viewers of the show, if you want a fourth season, which we very much want to bring you a fourth season, then by all means watch and tell your friends.â

When will âThe Lincoln Lawyerâ season 4 come out?
The Lincoln Lawyer is one of Netflixâs few series that follows a traditional yearly release schedule, compared to series with multi-year hiatuses like Bridgerton, Wednesday, and Stranger Things. Season 3 arrived later than usual, in fall rather than late spring/early summer, after filming took place from January to June 2024.
Luckily for fans, season 4 is right on schedule! In a mid-December 2025 press release, Netflix confirmed season 4 will premiere on Thursday, February 5.

Who in the âThe Lincoln Lawyerâ cast will return for season 4?
All of the seriesâs beloved main cast, including Manuel Garcia-Rulfo (Mickey Haller), Becki Newton (Lorna), Angus Sampson (Cisco), and Jazz Raycole (Izzy), will return for season 4. Upon its renewal, Netflix confirmed that Neve Campbell (Maggie McPherson) would return âfor all episodes of the new season,â after the Scream star only held a supporting role in seasons 2 and 3.
Months later, Deadline confirmed that fan-favorite Elliott Gould would be back as David âLegalâ Siegel, and Krista Warner would reprise her role as Mickey and Maggieâs daughter Hayley Haller.
However, one familiar face will not return. TVLine has reported that Yaya DaCosta wonât reprise her role of Andrea Freeman, since the character does not appear in season 4âs source novel, The Law of Innocence.
While characters from previous seasons have been known to pop up in later episodes, itâs unknown whether Devon Graye, who plays Julian La Cosse, as well as WolĂ© Parks, who plays his partner David, will ever be back after riding off into the sunset in the season 3 finale.

Which new cast members are joining âThe Lincoln Lawyerâ season 4?
We now know whoâll play the prosecutor trying to keep Mickey behind bars. Netflix announced that Constance Zimmer had joined the series for a 10-episode guest arc. The Emmy nominee and UnREAL alum will play Dana Berg, âa colleague of Maggieâs from her days in the L.A. district attorneyâs office,â per Tudum.
Sheâs been described as, âDana, a relentless prosecutor who will let nothing stand in the way of a guilty verdict, has a single-mindedness that earned her the nickname âDeath Row Dana.â A fierce and ruthless adversary who bends the rules to her advantage, sheâs the last person Mickey wants to go up against in what will be the trial of his life.â

Zimmer isnât the only new cast member joining season 4. In April, Deadline confirmed several more newcomers to the ensemble, including one of the Real Housewives(!). RHOBH star Kyle Richardsâs latest acting role will be on the Netflix hit, playing âCeleste,â who is said to be a âBeverly Hills fabulous who comes to Haller & Associates looking to hire Lorna as a divorce attorney after being referred by a previous satisfied client.â
Aside from Richards, other guest stars include Jason Butler Harner (Ozark) and Scott Lawrence (Paradise). According to Deadline, Butler Harnerâs role is as Det. Drucker, âa seasoned Robbery Homicide detective with many years of investigations under his belt. He proves to be an especially determined adversary for Mickey.â Lawrence will also be involved with the case, as heâll be playing âJudge Stone, a former prosecutor known for his prickly attitude and tough sentencing.â Heâs said to be âintimidating and impatient, but ultimately, his rulings seek to treat both sides equally.â
Several other guests were confirmed one month later in May. Weâll see Emmanuelle Chriqui (Superman & Lois) as Jeanine Ferrigno, the âgirlfriend of a local gangster who finds herself mixed up in a criminal enterprise, giving her information pivotal to Mickeyâs defense;â Jason OâMara (Fire Country) as Jack Gilroy, Maggieâs new boyfriend and an orthopedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine; Javon Johnson (The Oval) as Carter Gates, âa decent, hardworking business owner whoâd turned his life around after legal troubles in his youth and now finds himself accused of murder;â and real-life chef Nancy Silverton as herself in a cameo role.

What will âThe Lincoln Lawyerâ season 4 be about?
Netflix has released an official synopsis: âMickey Haller (Manuel Garcia Rulfo) faces his toughest case yet as he and his team work tirelessly to prove his innocence in the murder of a former client, Sam Scales. To clear his name, they must unravel Samâs final scam, forcing them to go head-to-head with the DAâs office, the FBI, and ghosts from Mickeyâs own past.â
As fans may remember, season 3 followed author Michael Connellyâs The Gods of Guilt, and by the end of the installment, Mickey finds closure about the death of his former client and friend, Glory Days (previously played by Fiona Rene). He was able to successfully defend Julian La Cosse, who was wrongfully accused of her murder, and even gets true justice for her death, helping to take down the DEA conspiracy that led to her murder. However, this sets up Mickey getting the rug pulled from under him when the bloody corpse of con man Sam Scales (Christopher Thornton) is found in his Lincolnâs trunk.
This sets up the upcoming episodes to be based on the novel The Law of Innocence. The showrunners spoke to this in an interview with Variety, saying, âThe only way to up the stakes on this season was to make Mickey the client, which clearly was the idea Michael had in the books as well.â

In a Tudum interview from season 4âs set, co-showrunner Ted Humphrey hinted at the new seasonâs arc. âWell, the biggest cliffhanger of all is âWhat is going to happen to Mickey?â and that one certainly plays out across the whole season in the form of his trial. But in the first episode, youâll understand at least the broad strokes of what specifically has happened and what chargesâand adversariesâMickey is facing,â he revealed. âThis is going to be the biggest and most personal challenge Mickey has ever faced, and also the biggest roller coaster weâve yet taken our audience on. And of course, our other characters will be dealing not only with Mickeyâs case but with a slew of challenges theyâre facing as well.â
Humphrey added, âAll the advice heâs given clients over the years, now he has to give himselfâand he realizes how hollow some of it sounds when youâre the one itâs bouncing off of. Heâs got to deal with how this impacts not just him but also his family and loved ones, not to mention his business! But donât worryâheâs going to have help from some of the people our audience loves the most, as well as some familiar faces who will be cropping up along the wayâsome helpfullyâŠsome perhaps not so helpfully, and a few new ones as well.â
Is there a trailer for âThe Lincoln Lawyerâ season 4?
Yes! Netflix dropped the trailer for The Lincoln Lawyer season 4 in mid-January, a little less than a month before the premiere date. It shows the tough situation that Mickeyâs wound up in, now that heâs in jail and being framed for Samâs murder. âIâm the man with the axe,â he says, equating his upcoming battle to the biggest one of his life so far.
Whatâs more than being on trial, period, is that heâs going up against a very tough prosecution. âThe prosecution is doing everything they can to prevent a fair trial,â he says at one point. So, inevitably, the iconic attorney says heâs down to play âhardballââand put the case to rest by finding the real perpetrator. By the looks of the clipâand as fans are already well awareâheâll stop at nothing until justice is served.
