Amanda Holden awkwardly brought up the Beckham family feud to Mel C when the singer made an appearance on Heart Breakfast on Friday.
Mel, 52, said that she âwonât be talkingâ about her former bandmate Victoriaâs drama after the presenter, 54, said she was âheartbrokenâ for her.
The Beckhams have been embroiled in a tense row with their son Brooklyn, 26, and his wife Nicola Peltz, 31, for months now, but things came to a head last week when Sir David and Victoriaâs oldest son released a bombshell statement.
Joining Amanda in the studio to play her new song, Mel spoke about her fellow Spice Girl as she discussed the girlbandâs thirty-year reunion.
Amanda said: âIâm not going to talk to you about anything else. Iâve actually banned talking about the Beckhams on this show because Iâm heartbroken for them. So, we wonât be talking about that.
Mel replied: âYeah, we wonât be talking about that.â

âBut we will be talking about the fact that itâs thirty years coming up and there has to be a reunion. Surely?â Amanda continued.
Mel explained: âWell, this is the thing. If you remember looking back to 2019 when we did our stadium tour, Victoria wasnât with us.
âSo, she has to have that experience. Do you know what, itâs so lovely. Iâm sure a lot of your listeners out there saw the picture from last weekend.
âWe were celebrating Emmaâs birthday. We missed Melanie B she wasnât there sadly. But the four of us the rest of us were there and it was so lovely.
âAnd you know what itâs like, it was a big birthday. So, you feel very nostalgic. So, weâre probably closer now than we have been in a very long time and Iâm always keeping my fingers crossed.â
Mel C previously revealed that the band are getting âcloserâ to confirming a reunion to mark their 30th anniversary as she addressed the Spice Girls rumours.
The singer, who found fame in the iconic girl group alongside Mel B, Emma Bunton, Geri Halliwell-Horner and Victoria Beckham, has insisted they will âcelebrateâ the occasion this year.
Mel explained that she doesnât want to âthrow anybody under the busâ, but herself, Emma and Mel B have been in talks for the milestone.

However, the DJ has admitted the British girl group are âfrightenedâ and seriously feeling the pressure to get the celebration right.
Elsewhere, the Beckhams have maintained a stoic silence since Brooklyn claimed he has been âcontrolled by a family that values public promotion above all elseâ and that since being with Nicola he has found âpeace and reliefâ after battling crippling anxiety.
Among the long list of claims he made was that Victoria pulled out of designing his brideâs wedding dress at the âeleventh hourâ and then âhijackedâ the first dance at his wedding and âdanced very inappropriately on me in front of everyoneâ.
Victoria is said to be âfeeling betrayedâ by Brooklynâs bombshell statement and dancing revelations after her years spent protecting him from âdark storiesâ.
The Daily Mailâs Katie Hind previously explained how the Beckhamsâ camp âleapt into overdrive in Brooklynâs defenceâ when stories such as kiss and tells and tales of him being âinvolved with the wrong crowdâ surfaced.
The family have been putting on a united front in Paris this week during fashion week as Brooklyn remains in the US with Nicola.
