Television personalities Cat Deeley and Patrick Kielty have stunned supporters by revealing their separation following more than ten years of matrimonial life in an explosive announcement. The pair first encountered each other whilst co-presenting Fame Academy back in 2002, though they didn’t step out publicly as partners until nine years afterwards in 2011.
They tied the knot twelve months later in September 2012 during a celebration in Rome and share two youngsters. They revealed in a combined statement to the PA news agency: “We have taken the decision to end our marriage and are now separated. There is no other party involved.
“We will continue to be united as loving parents to our children and would therefore kindly ask for our family privacy to be respected. There will be no further comment.”, reports the Mirror.

Deeley has been presenting ITV’s This Morning with Ben Shephard since the beginning of last year, and formerly resided in Los Angeles for over a decade.
She fronted the American version of So You Think You Can Dance, whilst also featuring on SM:TV Live alongside television double act Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly between 1998 and 2002.
