BRADLEY Walsh has quit one of his TV quiz shows â and revealed the reason why. Bradley, 66, sadly wonât be returning to host Blankety Blank on BBC One.
Bradley has hosted the show since 2020, with the rebooted show running for three series.
But speaking to the Radio Times, Bradley admitted he had too many other projects on the go, and could no longer fit it into his schedule.
He said: âI just donât have the time, which is sad because Iâve loved Blankety Blank.
âItâs been one of my favourite shows, and itâs been brilliant⊠Itâs the most fun you can have in the studio, and I just cannot at the moment work on it.
âI just have not got the time. I would normally go to studio October, but Iâm all taken up in October and November, so I just havenât time to do it. Maybe next year.â
As well as Blankety Blank, Bradley also hosts The Chase on ITV, a role he has had since it began in 2009.
He also fronts the spin-off Beat the Chasers, while on the BBC he hosts Gladiators alongside his son Barney.
The father and son duo also have their own show on ITV, Bradley Walsh & Son: Breaking Dad.
Away from TV, Bradley is about to embark on a UK tour with his pals called The Prat Pack.
Bradley will be joined by Brian Conley, Shane Richie and Joe Pasquale on the tour which runs from September 2 until September 26.
Blankety Blank first aired in 1979 with Terry Wogan as the original host, before Les Dawson took over from 1984-1990.
The show was first rebooted in 1997 with Paul OâGrady hosting it as his drag alter ego, Lily Savage, until 2002.
