Jacob Elordi and Olivia Jade Giannulli have gone their separate ways.

In August 2025, a source confirmed to PEOPLE that the couple have broken up after having an on-again, off-again relationship since first sparking romance rumors in December 2021. However, one month after their breakup was confirmed, the former couple were spotted at Elordi’s Frankenstein premiere together.

Previously, Elordi and Giannulli reportedly called it quits in August 2022. Nearly one year later, the two were seen out several times together, including on a trip to see her parents, Lori Loughlin and Mossimo Giannulli, in Idaho in July 2023.

News of their relationship first came about after Elordi ended his relationship with model Kaia Gerber in November 2021 after one year of dating, and several months after Giannulli broke up with Jackson Guthy.

Elordi’s dating history includes several of his former costars, including The Kissing Booth‘s Joey King and Euphoria‘s Zendaya. Meanwhile, Giannulli was previously linked to Tyler Greenwald, prior to dating Guthy.

The Daily Mail captured pictures of the pair dressed in sweats. Elordi was also seen walking his golden retriever, Layla.

Shortly after Elordi and Giannulli’s public outing together, sources shared with PEOPLE conflicting reports on their relationship status. While one insider said they were “casually dating,” another source said they weren’t involved.

“They are not dating,” the other source said.

At the time, reps for Giannulli and Elordi did not immediately respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment.

The news comes after Giannulli revealed she moved to Paris in July 2025 and would be living there “for a bit.”

“I’m hopefully launching my business at the end of this year,” she said in a vlog she shared on YouTube at the time. “There’s just a lot going on, and it’s all really good and really exciting.”

One month after news of Giannulli and Elordi’s split broke, she was spotted showing her support at his Frankenstein premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival.

Video captured by PEOPLE and shared on Instagram showed Giannulli wearing sunglasses and waiting to join Elordi when he finished his red carpet walk. He appeared to hold the train of her dress as they walked up the stairs and into the theater together.
