THE first load of Iām A Celebrity stars glided through their first challenge today ā as they parachuted on to a beach.
ModelĀ Kelly Brook, actressĀ Shona McGarty, actorĀ Martin Kemp, comedianĀ Eddie KadiĀ and rapperĀ AitchĀ were the first stars to be spotted in action.
They leapt out of helicopters and parachuted on to the sand at Evans Head in New South Wales, Australia, ahead of Sunday nightāsĀ Iām a CelebrityĀ launch show.
The group looked delighted to see each other once they all hit the ground ā and they were watched over by hostsĀ Ant McPartlinĀ andĀ Dec DonnellyĀ from what appeared to be a castle.
One onlooker said: āWhen the celebs landed, they all ran around and hugged each other.
āAt one point, they did some kind of strange dance together.
āWhen they spotted Ant and Dec, they were all lined up and started waving at them.
āThey were all smiling and looked really happy ā but that will no doubt change once they start having to take part in some grim Bushtucker Trials.ā
Kelly, 45, wore a leopard print jumpsuit as she took on the task.
She and Spandau Ballet bassist Martin, 64, would have been particularly worried about the challenge ā because they are both afraid of heights.
āAs you get older, you are more aware of what can go wrong. When you are younger, you are like Teflon!ā

And Martin said: āIf you ask me to pick rats up, I can feel the shudder go through my body.
āIām not very good with heights either and like everyone, your stomach goes wobbly.ā
ITV bosses are planning on making this yearās show ā the 25th series ā the most competitive one yet.
They have introduced a ātwo in a row and you miss a goā ruleĀ which means that celebs can only be voted to do a Bushtucker Trial twice in a row.
They will then be exempt from the next vote ā but after that, viewers will be able to choose them once again.
The move has been brought in to stop the public āganging upā on celebs after some were targeted repeatedly by brutal viewers on previous series.
Last year, Radio 1 DJĀ Dean McCulloughĀ did six trials in a row ā as did former Tory MPĀ Matt HancockĀ during his jungle stint in 2022.
