>His pal Jakey Davies, who is a member of The Bov Boys with the I’m A Celeb star, commented on his friendship with the US comedian and admitted he was stunned to discover that Ginge is a self-proclaimed romantic.
>Ginge told his campmates he once sprinkled rose petals to woo a girlfriend: “I’ve never seen that side of him, we are all going to wind him up when he leaves the jungle! He does ok with women but I think Ruby is his ideal woman now,” he joked.
>The jungle duo have struck up an unexpected friendship while competing on the ITV game show Down Under. In a recent episode, Ginge supported Ruby by shouting over the campsite: “You look absolutely gorgeous Ruby! You do, every part of you. Honestly, every part. Your hair looks amazing. Honestly, you look like you’ve just walked in here!”

>Wax and Ginge were also chosen to go head to head in a stomach-churning eating challenge together, and the YouTube star said he would “protect” her at all costs.

>Jakey revealed that Ginge, who is a fan favourite to win the show, wants to take home the jungle crown for his mum after she raised him by working three jobs and branded his story from council house to potential glory “inspirational.”
>Ginge’s friend proudly revealed: “He said he wants to do it for her and make her proud, he values his family so highly. He is that inspiration for people from a working class background.”
>Ginge’s mum Michelle raised the YouTube star and his sister on a council estate in Manchester on a salary of £12,500 a year. Morgan first started live-streaming himself playing football video games under the iconic username Angryginge13 from his bedroom.

>Burtwhistle has now amassed more than five million followers across his accounts and is the bookies’ favourite to claim the Jungle crown. Earlier this week, Ginge was seen in tears as he admitted to missing his mum while Down Under.
>Jakey weight in: “I’ve not seen that emotional side to him but you have to remember that Ginge hasn’t been on holiday since 2017, never mind going to a different country and having zero contact to home, so it’s just a build up of emotions.”
>”I think he had a bit of a knock back that day as well by some of his camp mates, which made him feel a little bit alienated. I think it is nice for people to understand he is just human. He and Aitch meant no harm, there are some people in there who aren’t necessarily from the UK and they might not understand certain sarcastic traits.”

>He was also puzzled when Ginge confessed he doesn’t drink booze and just enjoys a Red Bull instead: “He doesn’t drink for the most part, but he has snuck in a Disaronno and coke now and again.”
>”He’s genuinely exactly the same as he’s on camera and he’s just a nice person, so I wasn’t worried about the public opinion because he’s not controversial. He’s literally just a sound bloke. I feel like every time someone becomes a bit successful, [they’re] typically from London. He means a lot to people in Manchester.”
