Viewers of I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! have voiced their frustration over the latest eliminations, calling out the show’s elimination process as “unfair” after Ashley Roberts and Sinitta were sent home. The drama unfolded during the episode aired on Wednesday, where the celebrities faced a tense “sudden death” challenge, Keys To Success.

In this challenge, the campmates were required to guess the correct order of a set of keys. Mo Farah excelled, completing the task in a mere 36 seconds, while Ashley Roberts struggled and spent a frustrating 11 minutes attempting the puzzle. As a result, Ashley was the first to be eliminated from the challenge, marking the end of her 12-day stint in the jungle. Sinitta was eliminated shortly thereafter, after quitting mid-task during the trial Dragged Through Hell.
Many fans were disheartened by Ashley’s exit, especially considering her previous success on the show. The 44-year-old, who had been a runner-up in the 2012 season, was described by viewers as their winner. On social media platforms, particularly X (formerly Twitter), many expressed their sadness over her elimination. Several fans speculated that Ashley’s exit may have been influenced by the actions of Jimmy Bullard, a former footballer, who had caused significant disruption during the previous trial. In that trial, Rancid Run, Bullard had shouted, “I’m A Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here!”—a decision that sent shockwaves through the camp. His actions led to a dramatic fallout between him and Adam Thomas, who lashed out at Jimmy for his role in the prior elimination. Adam himself had been sent home earlier in the series but was saved by his fellow campmates.

Fans were quick to place blame on Jimmy, with some writing, “Ashley deserved to win!! Scarlett should be the winner (again) in my eyes,” and “So Ash is gone because of Jimmy.” Others lamented that Ashley’s potential success in the Keys to Success challenge was cut short due to the sabotage, with one fan remarking, “Gutted Ashley went! I blame Jimmy! She probably would have survived yesterday’s trial.” The outpouring of support for Ashley was further amplified by her fellow campmates, particularly Scarlett Moffatt, who said, “I’m gutted for her because I think she’s done so amazing in every trial, every challenge. She got stuck into camp life. It’s not going to be the same without her.”
Despite the disappointment, Ashley remained positive in her exit interview. Reflecting on her experience, she expressed pride in her achievements throughout the competition. “As much as I’m bummed to be going out, making it so close to the final four, I feel like I’ve done myself proud. I got my hands dirty, faced some fears, met some amazing new people, and walked away with memories for life,” she said. “It’s been fourteen years. I’ve been through a lot of different life experiences since, some good, some bad. So, I walked in with a different head on my shoulders, really wanting to prove to myself that I could do it.”

Ashley also fondly recalled her time in the camp, particularly the magical experience of the waterfall. “The camp was cool. I loved that waterfall. That was so magical,” she shared. Her exit was followed by Sinitta’s, who also left the camp after struggling in the Dragged Through Hell trial. In this challenge, pairs of celebrities were shackled together and tasked with solving puzzles to free themselves. Sinitta, paired with Craig Charles, was unable to overcome the challenges and decided to quit. The rest of the campmates voted for her to leave.
In her exit interview, Sinitta expressed a sense of personal growth. “I got what I came here for, which was courage. This sense of being able to do whatever I believe,” she said. “I feel rejuvenated. It was magical and so much fun. I laughed every day. I faced my fears. I understand now, after being terrified of everything most of my life, the way to overcome your fears is to face them.” Sinitta went on to describe her second experience in the jungle as therapeutic, saying, “I feel like this fearless, robust person now, rather than a fragile person. It’s been like therapy. The second time in the jungle is a memory I will cherish forever.”
With Ashley and Sinitta eliminated, the final five contestants of I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! are Scarlett Moffatt, Craig Charles, Harry Redknapp, Sir Mo Farah, and Adam Thomas. The remaining celebrities will face off in the grand final, which will be filmed live on Friday. Fans will get to vote for their winner, adding a final layer of excitement to an already drama-filled season. The show continues to air on ITV and ITVX, keeping viewers on the edge of their seats as the competition intensifies.
Though Ashley’s elimination shocked many, she leaves behind a lasting legacy as one of the standout performers of this season. She was praised for her energy, dedication, and positive attitude in camp, and viewers will undoubtedly continue to champion her efforts even after her departure. As for Sinitta, her exit marks the end of a memorable second journey in the jungle, one that allowed her to conquer personal fears and emerge stronger. With the final five still in the race, the drama is far from over, and fans eagerly await to see who will ultimately claim the crown of I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! 2026.
