A PANICKED Scarlett Moffatt has crashed out of a horror I’m A Celeb trial after “feeling like she’s going to pass out.”
The telly legend shot to fame after appearing on Channel 4‘s Gogglebox alongside her parents.
After taking on the Australian Jungle in 2016 and being crowned the winner, Scarlett has returned for the “all stars” series in South Africa.
The 35-year-old has been performing well so far and even beat TOWIE’S Gemma Collins last week as they took on the Creeper Train trial.
But now, it seems jungle life has become all too much for Scarlett as she was thrown into a pile of maggots.
In the preview for tonight’s instalment of the ITV show, Scarlett and Ashley Roberts took on a snakes and ladders inspired trial.
The TV presenter could be seen standing in a box, waist deep in maggots, with a foam dice attached to a rail.
Her job was to spin the dice, using her face, while the box continued to fill up with maggots.
As the trial began, Scarlett said: “I feel like I can’t breathe properly… I feel like I’m gonna pass out I’m so sorry guys.”
Ashley, 44, was climbing the vertical games board, searching for a star in a cubby-hole full of snakes as Scarlett held her hand over her mouth, looking increasingly pale.
She was breathing very heavily and looked as though she was using every strain of her willpower to remain in the box.
Scarlett was gagging as she said: “Oh I’m gonna have to come out. I think I’m gonna have to come out.”
Pussycat Dolls star Ashley then turned around looking wide eyed and shocked as Scarlett appeared to quit the trial.
Scarlett previously spoke out on her fear of confined spaces when she last appeared on the show.
During her stint, she told hosts Ant and Dec she was getting upset after finding out she would be sealed into a small space while being covered in creepy crawlies.
But, fans trawled her social media pages and found her in a number of lift selfies with ex-boyfriend Luke Crodden and accused her of faking the fear.
Scarlett hit back at the claims telling us: “It’s not a lift phobia, it’s claustrophobia.
“Claustrophobia is being scared of confined spaces. I haven’t got a fear of lifts, I’ve got a fear of not being able to see an escape.
“I can’t go in a small room without a window, or even a big one. I don’t know why my brain works like that.”
Scarlett has been working on her fear over the past few years, so viewers will have to wait and watch tonight’s show (ITV1, 9pm) to see if Scarlett quits the trial or perseveres.
