GETHIN Jones has sparked romance rumours with a stunning Sky Sports presenter during his birthday ski trip in Morzine.
The BBC Morning Live presenter, 48, cosied up with Pien Meulensteen, 29, as they spent time celebrating with his friends.
Gethin took to Instagram to share snaps of his birthday celebrations and captioned them: “A quality few days in Morzine with a top class group “the padel princesses”.
“First time I went to the mountains I raced half pipe and tried a ski jump, this was around 20 years ago!
“I’ve been skiing a few times since then but decided to get my first lesson this time, and guess what, it really helped.
“Waiting for the queen of socials @pienmeulensteen to send some reels. Until then, he’s my offering!”
Along with Sky Sports, Pien also works for ITV and the Premier League, as well as being part of DAZN’s Women’s Champions League coverage.
When she is not commentating on Premier League action, though, she has also appeared as a reporter on Soccer Saturday.
One of Pien’s career highlights was becoming the first female commentator for a live Premier League match for Sky Sports in 2023.
Pien is also the daughter of Rene Meulensteen, a former assistant manager at Manchester United.
This news comes after Countryfile presenter Helen Skelton, 42, grabbed headlines in the recent months as rumours swirled about her budding romance with Gethin.
Last October, the Morning Live presenters walked the red carpet and posed for pictures together at the Pride of Britain Awards.
This appeared to have confirmed their relationship after months of romance rumours.
However, Helen, who split from her ex-husband rugby player Richie Myler in 2022, has finally given an update on her relationship with Gethin.
Helen has stressed her and Gethin are nothing more than ‘work friends’ and always have been, adding: ‘We just work together, we are not together. No, no, no. We are just work friends.
According to the Mail Online, the couple cooled things off and Gethin joined celebrity dating app Raya during his trip Down Under in a bid to meet Aussie women.
It was first reported by the same publication in May how the pair were enjoying a flirty and tactile relationship with each other and had even spent time on a spa retreat and were acting “like a couple” after chemistry “blossomed”.
Gethin meanwhile was last seeing First Dates star CiCi Coleman in 2023.
He’s also enjoyed a host of other showbiz flings, including one with TOWIE’s Lucy Mecklenburgh and German lingerie model, Katja Zwara.
Gethin famously dated Welsh singer Katherine Jenkins for four years from 2007 and became engaged in February 2011.
The pair ended up splitting ten months later.
