Harry Redknapp and his wife Sandra have once again touched supporters by celebrating a marriage that has lasted for almost six decades.
Before Harry became a familiar figure in English football, he was a teenager from East London who met Sandra during a visit to their local pub. Their relationship grew over the following years, and the couple married at Barking Abbey Church in 1967.
Sandra remained beside him as his football journey developed from playing to management. Harry represented clubs including West Ham United and Bournemouth before later managing teams such as West Ham, Portsmouth, Southampton and Tottenham Hotspur.
Among his best-known achievements was leading Portsmouth to FA Cup success in 2008. Yet Harry has repeatedly suggested that his most meaningful accomplishments are connected to the life and family he built away from the pitch.
