HELEN Flanagan left the Celebrity Ex on the Beach launch party after just 30 minutes, with the sudden departure raising eyebrows among guests.
Co-star Curtis Pritchard also made an early exit, with neither star hanging around to enjoy a cruise on the River Thames.
An onlooker told The Sun: “Helen left really abruptly before the party had even officially started.
“She’d done her interviews and had her pictures taken, but was spotted getting off the boat before it had been scheduled to leave for a cruise down the river.”
There was no sinister or dramatic reason behind the decision though.
Helen’s rep told The Sun: “Helen had to leave to get the train back to Manchester as she is in rehearsals for Easter panto and she had finished all the media for the launch.
“She’s got lots of shows all over the UK for next 14 days which she’s really excited about.”
Meanwhile Curtis had a scheduled training session at the gym to get to.
The new series of the Paramount+ reality show is packed full of fun and dating drama as a slew of singletons, including Love Island‘s Toby Aromolaran and Jedwards’ John Grimes, look for romance.
Helen’s relationship with the father of her three kids, Scott Sinclair, came to an end in 2022, while last year she split from her older boyfriend Robbie Talbot.
Ahead of the series she confessed she was ready for another shot at love, but she looked horrified when the series’ first dates were announced.
In a new teaser, Helen hurried over to pick up the Tablet of Terror and read a message that said: “Tonight is not about the past, it’s about the present, it’s date night.
“Girls, you are in control, it’s up to you to decide which boy you want to date. Please take some time to ponder your decision.”
