Molly-Mae Hague recently opened up about a terrifying incident at her £5 million mansion in a new YouTube video, where she shared the details of a fire that broke out on her property. The incident occurred while the influencer was enjoying a relaxing bath, and she was unexpectedly informed by her security team about the fire. Her security company messaged her to ask if the fire in her skip was intentional, wondering whether there was supposed to be a fire there. Confused and alarmed, Molly-Mae rushed out of the bath to find her builder, Glen, and immediately informed him about the situation. Glen reassured her that everything was under control, but she was still shocked to learn that the entire skip had caught fire. In her video, Molly-Mae humorously recounted her reaction, saying, “All I’m trying to do is have a shower and find an outfit for this baby brunch tomorrow, and instead, I’m Fireman Sam over here.”

This fire incident added to the already busy and emotional time in Molly-Mae’s life, as she and her fiancé, Tommy Fury, are eagerly anticipating the arrival of their second child. Their due date is set for June 12, and the couple is already parents to their three-year-old daughter, Bambi. Despite the frightening experience, Molly-Mae was able to find some levity in the situation, continuing with her preparations for the upcoming baby shower brunch she was hosting to celebrate the impending arrival of their second child. She shared that she had been dressed in a chic white co-ord for the event and had been cradling her baby bump while expressing excitement about the baby’s arrival. The party, organized by Molly-Mae’s manager Francesca Britton, included activities like bouquet-making, games, and cake decorating. Guests brought gifts such as luxury Diptyque candles and fragrances.
In addition to the fire drama, Molly-Mae also reflected on how becoming a mother has changed her, particularly in terms of her increased fear and anxiety. In her latest YouTube vlog, she admitted that parenthood had made her much more fearful of everything. She explained that in the past year, she had gone from being someone who rarely feared anything to now seeing danger everywhere she goes. “A lot of things terrify me at the minute,” she said. “Since becoming a mum, I have become so scared of everything – every time I leave the house, every time I get in an Uber, or every time I get on a plane.”
Molly-Mae recalled how, before becoming a mother, she was known as the “brave” one in her group of friends. She said that she was always willing to take risks, whether it was skiing down a mountain or watching any horror movie without hesitation. Her friends used to call her fearless, and she prided herself on being the one who would do anything without fear. However, things have changed dramatically since she became a mother. She described how now, every time she leaves the house, she has a constant worry that something might happen to her or her daughter, Bambi. “I never used to be scared of anything,” she explained. “But in the last year, I’d say, I see danger around every single corner.”

Molly-Mae attributed these changes to the responsibility that comes with motherhood. Now that she is responsible for her child, her perspective on safety and danger has shifted significantly. “I’m not just living for me anymore, I’m living for a child,” she said. This sense of responsibility for Bambi’s well-being has heightened her fears, and she now feels the need to constantly safeguard herself in order to protect her daughter. She explained, “When you become a mum, your sense of danger just personifies.” She described how she feels debilitated by these fears, even when she is simply getting into an Uber or going about her daily life. Every decision seems to be filled with the anxiety of ensuring she stays safe for the sake of her child.
Molly-Mae went on to describe how, whenever she has to travel or even just leave the house, she experiences a heightened sense of fear. She shared how, during her recent trips into the city, she would find herself praying to stay safe while in an Uber. “Every time I get in an Uber, I’m just praying to get out of the Uber,” she said. “I just want to get out, I just want to be safe, I want to be on ground.” This heightened anxiety, she believes, stems from the fact that she is no longer living solely for herself; her role as a mother has given her a new, all-encompassing sense of responsibility. She now has the added worry of ensuring that she and her family remain safe, not just for her own sake but for the sake of her daughter, Bambi. “I think you have so much more responsibility when you become a parent,” she explained. “You have to sort of safeguard yourself a bit more and make sure you protect yourself to be there for them.”
She also touched on how Tommy, her fiancé, has noticed this shift in her mindset. She joked that he was “looking at me like I’ve lost my damn mind,” but Molly-Mae emphasized that she hadn’t always been this way. She clarified that she used to be the person who was fearless and adventurous, but now she finds herself constantly worrying about danger. “I never used to fear anything, and now I’m the polar opposite,” she admitted. “I literally look at a car and I see danger.”

The fire at her mansion and her reflections on parenthood are just the latest in a series of personal moments that Molly-Mae has shared with her followers. Despite the challenges, she continues to navigate life with humor and grace, preparing for the arrival of her second child while adjusting to the new realities of motherhood.
