Actress Nicole Kidman and her co-star Simon Baker have sparked much speculation after being spotted holding hands intimately at the premiere of her new film and attending a party together afterward.

Sources revealed to The Sun that Nicole Kidman is becoming increasingly close to Australian actor Simon Baker after her divorce from Keith Urban. The two are said to have shown signs of being more than just friends and colleagues at the film’s premiere in New York in early March.
“The closeness between Nicole and Simon is currently a hot topic of discussion. They are incredibly compatible on screen, and when you see them in real life, that ‘chemistry’ is clearly not fake. At the after-party, the two were always together and chatting animatedly,” a witness recounted.

Representatives for Kidman and Simon Baker have not yet responded to this information. Meanwhile, a source told Page Six that the two stars have known each other for a long time and are good friends.
In the film Scarpetta, Nicole Kidman, 58, plays forensic pathologist Dr. Kay Scarpetta, while Simon Baker, 56, plays her husband, Benton Wesley. They previously played a married couple in the 2020 American television series Roar.
In real life, the “Australian swan” was close friends with Simon’s ex-wife, fellow Australian actress Rebecca Rigg. Nicole is the godmother of Simon’s son with Rebecca. Simon and Rebecca’s 22-year marriage ended in 2020.

Nicole Kidman separated from singer Keith Urban last summer after 19 years of marriage and two daughters, Sunday, 17, and Faith, 15. The couple finalized their divorce earlier this year. Nicole reportedly tried to save the marriage but failed.
Previously, the Oscar-winning actress was married to actor Tom Cruise from 1990 to 2001. After the divorce, Tom was granted custody of their two adopted children, Bella, now 33, and Connor, 31.
