KATIE PRICE has been slammed for ‘trying to overshadow her daughter Princess Andre again’ after revealing her legal wedding and claiming she’s pregnant.
Princess, 18, is gearing up for the second series of her ITV2 show, The Princess Diaries and has been busy promoting it.
But it looks like her mum’s love life is overshadowing her exciting next chapter yet again.
A source exclusively told The Sun: “Yet again, Katie has to post a series of attention seeking pics on social media – the pregnancy test this morning, all of the wedding stuff – and it’s terrible timing.
“Princess and Junior are doing interviews and instead of talking about the TV show they have to talk about Katie and her antics.
“Nobody understands why Katie can’t just take a step back and let Princess have the spotlight for just a week ahead of her show launch.
“It’s like Katie can’t bear if people aren’t talking about her.”
The former glamour model, 47, got married to her fourth husband Lee Andrews for the second time five days ago in a secret ceremony.
Many had expressed their concerns over the legitimacy of their wedding, but The Sun revealed the pair’s real marriage certificate.
As well as this, Katie claimed last week that she’s pregnant with her sixth child as she ranted “I’m having his baby” at a post for Lee’s ex.
And today she took to her Instagram stories to pose with a pregnancy test as she continued to spark speculation.
She said: “Hey guys so all the speculation.
“If you want to see the truth subscribe and you will see the answer”.
Meanwhile, Princess and her big brother Junior appeared on This Morning today and were quizzed about their mum’s new husband by hosts Ben Shephard and Cat Deeley.
When asked if they’d met Lee, Princess confirmed: “No I’ve not met him.”
“And how are we feeling about the new relationship?” Ben quizzed further.
Junior, 20, replied: “To be fair, our mum is her own person, you know? Her own woman, she’s going to do what she wants to do.
“As long as she is happy. As long as she is happy, that’s honestly all I care about, to be honest.”
This isn’t the first time Katie has been accused of trying to overshadow her daughter.
Ahead of the first series of The Princess Diaries airing last year, the I’m A Celebrity star told her podcast listeners: “Princess was like ‘I’m having a party’. And I wasn’t invited because it was for filming.”
But a source said at the time that Katie “missed a planned meet-up” with Princess on the morning of her 18th birthday because she was abroad.
They told the Mirror that Katie has been trying to “insert herself” into Princess’s career and her “attention-seeking” behaviour just 24 hours before her new ITV show aired was to “overshadow” the launch.
“It was all in the diary but then Katie claimed she couldn’t make it as she was abroad. It was disappointing,” a source told the publication.
“For Katie to then say she was banned from the afternoon’s filmed party when she was the no-show in the morning is just beyond belief.”
