Amy Childs has opened up about a devastating health crisis affecting her family after her cousin’s baby daughter, Lila, was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive brain tumour. In an emotional post on Instagram, the TOWIE star shared the heartbreaking news with her followers and urged them to support a fundraising campaign for the infant.

Lila, now just five months old, was diagnosed with AT/RT, an extremely rare and fast-growing tumour that affects the brain or spinal cord, particularly in very young children. Lila’s mother, Hannah Brincat, described her daughter as “the bravest girl,” saying she’s endured more in her short life than most adults would.
The little girl has already undergone a nine-hour brain surgery and started chemotherapy at just five weeks old. Despite her brave fight, after six rounds of chemotherapy, the family was told the tumour had returned, and doctors informed them that no further treatment options were available. “We are devastated,” Hannah wrote. “Our lives have been turned upside down.”
In an attempt to seek new treatments, the family has reached out to a specialist oncologist in Toronto, known for his research into this rare tumour. However, they still don’t know whether additional treatments will be available or how much they will cost. “Time is not on our side,” Hannah added.

Amy Childs shared the heartbreaking news with her followers, posting a screenshot of the JustGiving page created to help cover potential medical costs. “Please, if you can, help support my cousin’s beautiful daughter Lila. She’s fighting so hard, and every donation makes a difference,” Amy wrote. “Even sharing this means a lot. Thank you all so much.”
