Now, the truth has come out â Raza has been hospitalised after a frightening fall that left him with cracked ribs, forcing him to step back from filming while he recovers.
What Happened to Raza?
The Siddiqui family â Raza, his brothers Umar and Baasit, and their father Sid â have been Gogglebox favourites since the showâs debut in 2013. Their humour, warmth, and tight-knit bond made them fan favourites, so when Raza wasnât seen on the sofa, fans immediately became concerned.
On Tuesday, the family took to Instagram to explain, revealing that Razaâs fall occurred âa few weeks backâ and resulted in cracked ribs, making it impossible for him to film while he heals.
Reassuring Fans
The family shared reassuring photos: one of Raza smiling from his hospital bed, and another showing a heartwarming moment at home as Raza cuddled his nephew Theodore on the sofa.
In their update, they wrote:
âFor all you eagle-eyed Goggleboxers, you may have noticed Raza hasnât joined us on the sofa this season. Sadly, he had a fall and cracked some ribs. Heâs recovering nicely and will be back with us in a few weeks.â
