Earlier this week, Sam Thompson hard launched his new romance almost a year after his split from Love Island’s Zara McDermott.

The reality star turned presenter is dating model and DJ Talitha Balinska and she made her first appearance on his social media in an Instagram ad for the new LEGO Hogsmeade Village Collector’s Edition. Random, we know.

Sam has opened up about his new relationship on the Staying Relevant podcast, which he hosts with best friend Pete Wicks, and it turns out the former TOWIE star has a secret link to Talitha.

It’s just come to light that Pete liked a series of Talitha’s Instagram pictures, including one which shows her posing in the back of a luxury car in a double denim corset and jeans outfit. The post was captioned, ‘Hop in.’

In pictures obtained by the Daily Mail, Pete’s Instagram username can be seen amongst the likes of that picture and another that shows her posing in a white crop top and cream blazer outside a Chelsea townhouse.

Sam and Pete aren’t Talitha’s only celeb connections either as she’s also pals with current Made in Chelsea cast member Alice Yaxley.

BFFs Sam and Pete have previously spoken out about competing for the affections of the same woman on their podcast. In a previous episode, Sam said, ‘I will never forget the time I tried to slide into a girl’s DM’s and she told me she was going on a date with my best friend [Pete] that weekend.’

He screamed before adding, ‘That’s how I feel inside.’ Pete then replied, ‘My response was okay I’ll cancel it, you can go if you want.’

Although there’s been plenty of speculation about them dating, Sam and Talitha only confirmed their romance this week in the video advert for LEGO. In the clip, Sam can be seen telling his sister Louise about an upcoming ‘hot date’.

Sam’s then seen playing with the LEGO set later that day before Louise interrupts him and says, ‘If you didn’t have anyone to hang out with, you could have just said.’

After Louise walks off, Talitha then joins Sam and asks, ‘What did I miss?’
