🚨 “JOJO SIWA CLAPS BACK AT CRITICS: ‘NOTHING COMES BETWEEN US’ IN CHRIS HUGHES ROMANCE”

JoJo Siwa has spoken out once again about her romance with Chris Hughes, firmly shutting down critics and revealing the unexpected ways she protects their relationship from outside pressure.

The former Dance Moms star and the Love Island alum began dating shortly after appearing together on Celebrity Big Brother in April 2025 — and JoJo now insists the reality show “kickstarted” something real between them.

While many expected JoJo, who came third on the ITV series, to throw herself into nonstop TV work afterwards, she has surprised fans by revealing that she purposely turns down job offers to avoid putting strain on her relationship.

Speaking to The Sun, JoJo said:
“Something important to both of us is that nothing comes between us — nothing makes anything stressful or feels like we have to do something.”

The dancer has been heavily linked to the next series of Strictly Come Dancing, especially after her run on Dancing With The Stars in the U.S. But insiders say she will only say yes if the timing doesn’t jeopardise her relationship with Chris.

Their romance has sparked endless online speculation — some questioning their age gap, others doubting the authenticity of the relationship altogether, especially as JoJo previously identified as a lesbian before joining Celebrity Big Brother.

But JoJo insists none of this matters to her or Chris.
She says speculation always happens “to anyone who meets someone on television,” explaining that the two of them are “bobbing and weaving and ducking and diving” through the rumours as they focus on what’s real.

JoJo also revealed that their relationship unfolded in a very unconventional way. They didn’t go on a “normal” first date.
Instead, they met on Big Brother, spent a month apart after filming, then took a trip to Mexico — where things officially began.

Now, the couple spend most of their time together, even though Chris admits it requires constant flying back and forth. Despite the distance, he says he loves visiting JoJo in America, joking that her dad is “the older version of me.”
According to The Sun, Chris and JoJo’s father, Tom, have even bonded over regular golf sessions in Palm Springs.

This heart-to-heart from JoJo comes just as Chris revealed that the run-up to Christmas will be the longest they’ve been apart — five full weeks — before he reunites with her in the U.S.

Adding to the social media buzz, JoJo’s ex Kath Ebbs also made headlines recently when she and new partner Tilly Lucas-Rodd pranked fans on TikTok by pretending to get engaged with matching rings. JoJo and Kath split shortly after Big Brother wrapped earlier this year.
