General Hospital‘s Katelyn MacMullen has put in the work with the Willow scenes over the last few days, and Laura Wright took notice. She went from a devoted, put-together Mom to a mess seemingly overnight with Drew’s help.
MacMullen brings all the emotions as Willow’s world falls apart from all sides, and GH viewers aren’t the only ones noticing it.
Wright Praises Her Co-Star
Soap Twitter was buzzing about MacMullen and her recent portrayal of Willow. From the moment she put on her wedding dress to the tongue-lashing she gave Drew (Cameron Mathison), she garnered rave reviews.
Wright (Carly) spotted someone’s post and reshared it with her own comments.
She wrote, “Ohhh Katey you crushed these scenes. And Friday’s show you broke my heart !!! Great work, my friend xoxoxox.”
The scenes between the actresses on GH were well thought out, with Carly even giving her a sympathetic glance as she watched Willow fall apart outside her home. The depth of the acting was apparent, especially after she gave such a fantastic performance at the church while letting Drew know he is no longer in her life.
