Andy Carroll’s relationship with Lou Teasdale has had its fair share of ups and downs since they started dating in 2024, but it looks as though his romance with the make-up artist is now stronger than ever. He’s posted a loved up video of her supporting him while he recovered from surgery.
The former Premiere League footballer, 37, who now plays for Dagenham and Redbridge underwent surgery to repair a fracture and ligament.
Dressed in the trademark hospital gown while attached to IV drips, Andy placed a kiss on Lou’s forehead as she snuggled next to him on his hospital bed.
In the post, Coldplay’s Fix You played in the background and Andy captioned his post saying: “Through the ups and downs my person will always be there for me.”
He added: “I’ll be back with the @daggersfcofficial as soon as I can, the surgery on my fracture and ligaments went well with the best guy in the business Rhys Thomas. Thank you.” Andy was out of action for the beginning of the football season after injuring his hamstring.

Andy and his ex wife and former TOWIE star Billi Mucklow ended their two year marriage in July 2024 and since then Andy has been dating Lou. But after a string of public fall outs, it was reported in August last year that they pair had parted ways after a huge row in Greece.
At the time, the argument was allegedly fuelled by booze. And according to reports, things became so tense that the police had to be called in a desperate bid to de-escalate the situation.
A source told The Mirror at the time: “We recognised him as the footballer Andy Carroll immediately. He seemed very drunk and furious with his partner. He was using very bad words. It was improper behaviour. The woman looked very upset.”
The Sun also reported that Andy was growing tired of her influencer lifestyle as she would constantly post on social media which is not something he likes to do.
Following a slew of reports providing fans with details of their huge bust-up, the couple issued a joint statement. It read: “Whilst having a private dinner in a restaurant on a quiet holiday in Mykonos, we had a heated discussion of the sort that most couples have had on occasion.”
It continued: “It quickly became apparent to the police that there was no reason for them to be there. We went outside the restaurant with them together as they insisted they wanted to ‘look after’ us.”
The statement concluded by saying: “As far as we are concerned, the situation has been blown out of all proportion by an interested member of the public. No one was arrested, and no one was charged with anything. We are very happy, in love and looking forward to our future together.”
