ANT MCPARTLIN has quit London for a stunning new £10m mansion in Surrey after a planning row with neighbours.
The Sun exclusively revealed last year that the 50-year-old had sold his seven-bedroom pad in the capital after agreeing to a deal from a Scottish millionaire businessman.
Now it looks like he’s left London for good and relocated to one of the UK’s most popular villages, according to The Mail on Sunday.
The publication has stated that the Britain’s Got Talent host has purchased a new-build mansion on an exclusive street for a record price of more than £10million.
A Surrey local expressed: “Apparently, it is a record sale for the area and it’s all anyone is gossiping about.
“It is one of the prime private estates in an acre of grounds so he shouldn’t have trouble with the neighbours any more.’
Another said: “He looks very content and is always happy to say hello to people who recognise him but I don’t think he will be bothered too much around here as we are used to all the celebrities packing out the local hostelries.”
The Sun have contacted Ant’s representatives for a comment.
The news comes after the I’m A Celebrity presenter moved out of his previous home in Wimbledon, South West London after purchasing it back in 2018.
We reported back in November that locals accused Ant and his wife Anne-Marie Corbett of wanting to chop down six “healthy” trees in their garden.
Ant and Anne-Marie had gained permission from the local council to fell the trees last February – despite the fact they were protected by a Tree Preservation Order.
A neighbour who objected to the decision said “no justification” had been given – except for “the applicant’s wish to allow re-landscaping of part of their garden”.
The couple, who share one-year-old son Wilder, later revised their planning application to keep the trees – but they eventually decided to leave altogether.
They were said to have pumped “hundreds of thousands of pounds” into the property, which Ant bought with no mortgage in 2018.
He and Anne-Marie moved in together in 2019 – a year after they got together following his split from ex-wife Lisa Armstrong, 49.
The three-storey pad had a cinema, swimming pool and five reception rooms.
The Sun revealed he sold the property to Scots businessman Sir Fraser Morrison and his wife Patricia.
Sir Fraser and his wife were listed on Land Registry forms as the purchasers of the house, which is believed to have been sold for around £6million.
Sir Fraser made his fortune selling his family-owned firm Morrison Construction for £263million in 2000.
That year, he was named as the second-richest person in Scotland by The Sunday Times with earnings in excess of £23million – behind only Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling.
A rep for Ant previously insisted he and Anne-Marie had moved out for “family reasons” rather than planning issues.
