Victoria Beckham has shared a heart-melting glimpse into her family’s Christmas, publicly praising her husband David Beckham as “truly the best daddy” — even as tensions with their eldest son continue to rumble in the background.
The former Spice Girl posted a sweet video on Instagram Stories showing David dancing with their youngest daughter, Harper Beckham, 14, to Islands in the Stream, the iconic Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton hit that has long held special meaning for the couple.
The song has become a cherished tradition for David and Victoria, often played at anniversaries and birthdays, and even sparked a viral TikTok trend in 2024. This Christmas, David passed the tradition on to Harper, singing along as they danced, before gently dipping her — a moment that left Harper beaming with laughter.
“Truly the best daddy,” Victoria wrote alongside the clip, as fans flooded the post with praise for the tender father-daughter bond.
Victoria also shared a series of festive snaps, offering a peek into a family Christmas spent with extended relatives and three of their four children — Cruz, Romeo and Harper — all dressed in cosy pyjamas and Santa hats.
Yet one notable absence lingered.
Eldest son Brooklyn Beckham and his wife Nicola Peltz were missing from the celebrations amid the family’s ongoing feud. Brooklyn instead marked Christmas by posting a loved-up snap of Nicola, calling her his “everything”, before spending the day playing tennis with Reilly Opelka and Nicola’s brother Bradley.
The rift reportedly deepened earlier this month when Brooklyn blocked his parents — and siblings — on Instagram. His younger brother Cruz later confirmed the move, revealing that even Harper had been removed, saying their parents “woke up blocked”.
Sources claim Brooklyn has since demanded an apology from David and Victoria to Nicola, insisting that the pain caused cannot simply be brushed aside with public posts.
Against that emotional backdrop, Victoria’s festive tribute to David struck many as both a celebration of unity — and a quiet reminder of what’s currently missing from the picture.
