Jeff Brazier has candidly admitted he is taking time out to “reflect on life” following the breakdown of his marriage — and amid an increasingly public and painful family feud.

The This Morning presenter, 46, who split from wife Kate Dwyer, 35, after seven years of marriage, has temporarily stepped away from home life to regroup, revealing he recently spent time in St Kitts during what he described as a much-needed pause.

Sharing a series of striking images on Instagram, Jeff posted a solitary photograph of himself standing barefoot on a sandy beach, gazing out at a glowing sunset — a quiet, contemplative moment that appeared to reflect the emotional crossroads he now finds himself at.

Captioning the post, Jeff wrote:
“Just had the perfect week in St Kitts thanks to @stkittstourism.
Celebrating the sunshine and time to reflect on life & work while spending time with the team filming for one of our big @itvwin January competitions.”
He continued by thanking colleagues for their support, adding:
“Thank you to @mickarchy @roscoyule PB & Anita for being such great company and doing a really top-class job.”

Jeff also offered travel recommendations from his stay, urging followers not to miss the sweeping Atlantic and Caribbean views from Timothy Hill Overlook.

The reflective post came just weeks after Jeff publicly confirmed the end of his marriage to Kate, with whom he had been in a relationship for 12 years.
In an emotional and carefully worded statement released in November, Jeff explained that the couple had actually separated over the summer but chose to keep the news private for as long as possible.
“I’m so full of love and gratitude for Kate,” he wrote.
“For all we achieved, for how much we grew, for everything we endured.”

He continued:
“For 12 years we have been each other’s safe space, each other’s biggest supporters at a time when our lives have been busy, painful and complex.”
Jeff praised Kate’s career and character, saying he remained deeply proud of her achievements and touched by her continued involvement in his sons’ lives.
“It’s credit to the woman she is that she still checks in to ask how the boys are doing because she is so invested in their lives,” he added.
“They love her, and I will miss her family who always went above and beyond to support us.”
While emphasising there were no hard feelings, Jeff admitted the decision to part ways was painful but necessary.
“We both deserve complete happiness, and we’re upset that we ultimately couldn’t be that for one another. It felt time to let it go.”
However, Jeff’s personal upheaval does not end there.
In recent weeks, his family has been pulled further into the spotlight following revelations surrounding his youngest son Freddy, 21, who is currently embroiled in a bitter dispute with his pregnant ex-girlfriend Holly Swinburn, 22.
The Sun reported that tensions between the former couple have escalated dramatically, with Freddy now facing the possibility of not being named on the birth certificate of his unborn child.
Sources claim the pair are at loggerheads over several issues, including the future of their shared American Bully dog, Pablo — with accusations that Holly has threatened to block Freddy from being legally recognised as the baby’s father.
Holly has since spoken publicly about the collapse of their relationship, alleging she ended it after discovering Freddy hosted a 3am drugs party at her home while she was away.
At the same time, Jeff remains entangled in a long-running family rift involving the late Jade Goody’s mother, Jackiey Budden — a situation that has periodically resurfaced in headlines and caused further strain.
Despite the turmoil, Jeff is reportedly preparing for a new chapter — both professionally and personally.
It has emerged that he has landed a new fly-on-the-wall reality series with sons Bobby and Freddy, offering the Brazier family an opportunity to address long-standing tensions and “set the record straight” on several deeply personal issues.
The programme is expected to shine a light on the complexities of blended families, grief, loyalty and rebuilding — themes that have followed Jeff since the death of former partner Jade Goody.
For now, however, Jeff appears focused on slowing down — stepping back from the noise, the conflict and the constant scrutiny — as he quietly reassesses his life, his family and what comes next.
