Kelly Brook enjoyed her first I’m A Celebrity jungle shower moment on Wednesday’s episode as she took a playful dip alongside campmates Shona McGarty and Alex Scott.

The 45-year-old former glamour model had previously admitted she was taking her “pin-up” duties seriously this season — even revealing she’d had her bikinis screen-tested before entering camp.

And she didn’t disappoint. Kelly stepped into the show’s creek wearing a plunging palm-leaf swimsuit, her hair twisted up into a sleek high bun. Laughing with Shona and Alex as they headed down to the water, she jokingly announced herself as “Jungle Woman” before the trio dragged Shona into the creek.

But the fun came to a sudden halt when the group spotted several leeches in the water — prompting them to leap out in panic.

Speaking in the Bush Telegraph, Kelly exclaimed:
“We were seconds away from being covered in leeches and eaten alive. Oh my god — we could not get out of that pool quick enough.”
Before entering the jungle, Kelly told the Mail on Sunday she’d brought “lots of different bikinis” and left the final decision to the wardrobe team after camera testing:
“I’ve got loads with me — they’ve all been tested on camera, so wardrobe will decide.”
From Page Three Icon to Jungle Favourite

During the 90s, Kelly was a regular cover star for men’s magazines before transitioning into TV presenting and acting. Despite her early days as a “Page Three” favourite, she warned viewers not to expect her 20-year-old body anymore:
“Life changes, your body changes. I just hope people accept me for how I look now — not how I looked then.”

Still, Kelly did admit she hoped to follow in the footsteps of Myleene Klass, whose white-bikini jungle shower scene in 2006 became one of the most iconic moments in I’m A Celeb history.

Kelly revealed she even spoke to Myleene before entering the jungle:
“She told me she had to run out and get a bikini at the last minute — so I made sure to pack plenty. But that famous white-bikini moment wasn’t planned. It was fate — her moment.”
A Career of Glamour, Film Roles & Reinvention

Kelly previously starred with ex-boyfriend Billy Zane in the 2005 thriller Survival Island, in which she wore a striking white bikini similar to the one fans still associate with her today. Although she demanded the removal of several nude scenes, producers ultimately refused.
Voted “sexiest woman in the world” by FHM thanks to her size-8 frame and 32E bust, Kelly is now determined to show viewers that she brings brains, personality, business sense, and charm — not just beauty.
Behind the scenes, she’s using the momentum of her jungle appearance to prepare for the launch of a new Italian food line with her husband, Jeremy Parisi.
Recent trademark filings for Parisi Arpino reveal plans to sell pasta, sauces, pizzas, oils, meats, and cheeses.
Back in the Jungle Creek
Viewers watching Wednesday’s episode saw Alex Scott take the plunge first, with Kelly following moments later in her dramatic black-and-floral swimsuit. She turned heads again as she walked down to the purpose-built lagoon — a moment fans were clearly waiting for.
Kelly admitted she came prepared:
“After talking to Myleene, I packed loads of swimsuits so we had options.”
As Kelly, Shona and Alex splashed around, the former Page Three star embraced the moment — but with leeches lurking, the jungle proved it always has the final say.
Looking Ahead
Kelly is determined to bring humour, heart, and resilience to the show — while surprising viewers with new sides to her personality.
