Jade Goody’s mother Jackiey Budden appeared to be in high spirits over the weekend, enjoying a lively night out filled with karaoke, dancing and laughter — as her grandson Freddy Brazier quietly showed his support following a recent mending of their fractured relationship.
The former Celebrity Big Brother star, 68, let her hair down alongside close friend Lisa O’Mara, with the pair sharing a series of energetic videos from their night on social media. The clips captured Jackiey and Lisa larking about in a car park before heading to Boxpark, where the evening quickly escalated into full party mode.
Jackiey stood out in a bright red dress paired with green boots and a faux-fur coat, climbing onto benches to dance enthusiastically to Love Shack by The B-52s. Later, the duo belted out Gloria Gaynor’s I Will Survive during a karaoke session, drawing cheers as they sang along.
Captioning the videos, Lisa wrote: “The double act is back — the crazy duo,” alongside: “What a brilliant night out with me old mate Jackie 
”.
The fun continued as the pair were seen attempting to ride a bicycle together, with Jackiey perched precariously on the back while Chamillionaire’s Ridin’ played in the background. The two friends could barely contain their laughter as they stumbled and joked their way through the moment.
They later took to the dancefloor at a festive drag queen event, enjoying several drinks as Lisa quipped: “And the party starts when Lisa and Jackie walk in.”
Amid the raucous scenes, the night also marked a quieter, more emotional moment — with Jackiey receiving public support from her grandson Freddy Brazier, 21, after the pair recently reconciled following a turbulent period.
In one clip, Jackiey was seen falling over before being checked on and hugged by Lisa. Freddy commented affectionately beneath the video, writing: “This is sweet ”.
Just weeks earlier, Freddy had shared an explosive TikTok accusing his grandmother of lying to him, revealing the strain in their relationship. However, the model later suggested they had patched things up just in time for Christmas.
Last week, Freddy shared that he had attended Albin’s memorial service alongside Jackiey in remembrance of his late mother Jade, who died from cervical cancer in 2009 when Freddy was just four years old.
Posting on Instagram, Freddy wrote: “Went to see my Mum with my Nana. We also took Pablo on a long walk around Bermondsey and down the river.”
’While Jackiey did not appear in the photos, the caption hinted at a renewed bond between the pair.
The reconciliation comes after a deeply troubled period for Freddy, who previously revealed that he had tried to end his life by crashing his car before his 18th birthday during a manic episode.
The relationship between Freddy and Jackiey has long been complex. Earlier this year, Freddy’s father Jeff Brazier reportedly sought a court order to prevent Jackiey from having contact with his son, fearing she was a negative influence.
Jeff has raised Freddy and his older brother Bobby since Jade’s death, with Jackiey remaining a controversial presence in their lives. Tensions escalated after claims emerged that Freddy and his grandmother smoked cannabis together at her flat, prompting Jeff to consider legal action to “keep him safe”.
The situation has been further complicated by Freddy’s recent fallout with his pregnant girlfriend Holly Swinburn, who publicly accused him of engaging in drug-fuelled parties with other women. Holly claimed living with Freddy had become “a nightmare” and said she now plans to raise her child alone.
Freddy has fiercely denied the allegations, branding them “lies” and insisting no such parties took place. He also expressed anger at his father for appearing to side with Holly, saying the claims could damage his career and future relationship with his child.
Holly, meanwhile, has criticised Jackiey’s influence on Freddy, alleging jealousy and interference in his relationships. Freddy has hit back, stating he is trying to quit cannabis but that ongoing stress has made it difficult.
Despite the surrounding drama, Jackiey’s wild weekend — and Freddy’s supportive comment — suggest a fragile but meaningful step toward healing within a famously complicated family.
