â21 active hours of labour, an emergency C-section that resulted in me not being able to walk properly for three months, and the exhaustion was ridiculous.
âAdd on a new-born baby piranha setting my nipples on fire and a uterine infection and youâve got a memory you will never forget!â

Her story:Â In a very candid Instagram post shared on Thursday, the singer, 40, added that the âexhaustion was ridiculousâ as she strived to highlight the realities of childbirth and open up conversations of real birth stories (pictured in February)

Back in February, the songwriter shared a candid caption about her first 30 hours with the newborn, in which she said she was âexhaustedâ and âin painâ, but added that it was all worth it to meet her ânew little cherub.â
She penned: âPregnancy diary. Well Iâm not pregnant anymore! I had a planned c section yesterday Iâm in a lot of pain and didnât sleep last night but itâs worth it to see and meet the new little cherub I have in front of me.â
Paloma then went on to share how sheâs doing with breastfeeding her baby girl, adding that her ânipples are on fireâ.
She explained: âIâm Exhausted, sore and my nipples are on fire with a baby piranha that wants to kill meâ
âOn them every few hours but I am of course elated! This baby couldnât be more loved or wanted if she tried (yes I have two gals).
âIâm now going through the constant worry of bottle vs breast, last time I breast fed exclusively and I think it was too hard! I donât know if I wana put myself through that this timeâŠ.. but Iâm Trying anyway.
And my nipples are on fire. Lost a litre of blood and Iâm in so much pain despite the pain killers. The joys!â
