Scarlett Moffatt has opened up to fans after sharing a sad family update following the death of her fiancé Scott Dobinson’s mother, Janice.
The former I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! winner, who is currently expecting her second child, posted a heartfelt message on Instagram alongside a family photo. In her tribute, Scarlett said she was devastated for Scott and his loved ones, especially as Janice will not get the chance to meet the couple’s second baby boy.
While the message was emotional, Scarlett also chose to focus on love and gratitude. She described Janice as a kind, welcoming woman who had been supportive from the beginning of her relationship with Scott.
Scarlett also spoke warmly about Janice’s role as a grandmother to their son Jude, and reflected on the love and values she had passed on to her family. She ended the tribute with a gentle goodbye, referring to her as “Nan Jan”.
After the post, many fans and familiar faces shared supportive messages for Scarlett, Scott and their family. Ellie Warner, Charlotte Crosby and Shaughna Phillips were among those who offered kind words during the difficult time.
The loss comes during an emotional chapter for the couple. Scarlett and Scott welcomed their first son, Jude, in 2023, and later shared that they were expecting another baby boy.
